I cook a lot so wanted one that was bigger than average. It’s great and has rubber legs so it doesn’t slide around. However, I hate cleanup after cooking a meal, and that cutting board is way too large to put in. No it doesn’t take long to wash, but if I can do anything to shave time off of doing this hated task, I will. Enter my search for the largest cutting board that I can find that can also fit into the dishwasher, is non-slip, has grooves on the sides to collect any liquid, and BPA-free. I looked at a lot of options and read many reviews (yes, I take my cutting boards very seriously). Voila, this one seemed to fit the bill perfectly.When I initially received it, I was a bit disappointed since it isn't fully non-skid. There is no rubber on the bottom to prevent it from sliding, so if you're pushing it around it won't stay put (my OXO one grips to the counter). However I’ve been using it for over a month now and it’s great. Not sure if the material itself actually does help a little bit with potential skidding, or I just don’t chop as aggressively as I think I do. Either way, no more handwashing cutting boards every time I cook. Goal accomplished. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Safer than cheap plastic, great size *by M***H on November 4, 2024* Heavy duty BPA-free HDPE plastic--love that. Particularly when dealing with large pieces of meat, it's easy to lean into it with heavy strokes that ordinarily cutting boards can't take without peeling off some plastic. Even if you can't see the plastic, it's there, and the board looks lousy quickly. Love the size--it doesn't take up the whole counter to use. You can leave fruit baskets, etc. where they 'live' at the back of your counter and still use this effectively. The groove, of course, is super important for meats, poultry.
