Tilting TV Wall Mount for 42" to 90" TVs - Universal Wall Mount TV Bracket w/ Low Profile & 12 degree Tilt - DIY Install w/ Included Hardware

Ordered the mount for an 85" Samsung TV, weighing about 125 lbs. It was heavy duty enough to hold the TV with no problems. The mount came with every combination of bolts to make sure there were parts for every type of TV. It was easy to install, and the mount had fold down covers to hide the mounting screws. After hanging the TV, the mount was made to extend outwards so that it would be easier to access any plug in ports in the back of the TV. I had HDMI, Optical, and sound bar connections, and all were easy to access. Great product and priced competitively.

Excellent build quality and ease of installation once the appropriate wall studs are located. I placed the mount in a bedroom. For me, the best screen height when viewed in bed with a pillow was about 72 inches from the floor to the middle of the 65" screen. The HeightFinder feature on the Sanus website worked very well. The tilt capability and the 15 degrees of side-to-side swivel made it easy to connect various cables to the TV. Sanus makes many different wall mounts with various features so the lack of a model designation in the Amazon product listing was a problem. I first ordered the mount from a third party seller on Amazon but instead of the product described in the listing which is a model OLT7 (very similar if not identical to the VLT7 on the Sanus website), I received a SLT4 -- also a tilting mount but without the 15 degree side-to-side swivel. I returned this mount unopened to the seller and reordered from Amazon directly. This time I received the correct OLT7 mount. So be sure to check the product packaging before opening to make sure it is the correct model with the features you want. I find the swivel capability worth the extra cost over a tilt-only model.

Outstanding wall mount! Easy installation, both to the wall with the drilling template, and to the TV. All necessary hardware was included. The fact that the mount extends a few inches makes plugging in the power cord and any accessories simple The tilt feature works great. Would l buy this mount again if I needed to wall mount a second TV? YES!

Nice and simple but it does take 2 people to do it right. It’s holding up my 75” with no problems at all.

Update (1.5yrs): Mount is still secure. Was able to swap out to a larger flat screen and the transfer was very smooth. Be sure to keep all the optional hardware when you first install -- I found exactly what I needed for the new TV configuration because I saved it all. Have had this mount over a year now and very happy with it. Forgot to note below: installed on wood studs on interior, indoor wall. Original review: Bought to mount an old 2007 40" Sony TV (flatscreen, but heavier than modern 40"). I had never installed a wall mount before, so went slow and measured umpteen times, but the template worked smoothly. You will need a stud finder and I recommend a powered drill. It did install smoothly for me and has held very securely for two months now. A lot of mounting component options for different TV model needs; I am happy to store those for when I am able to get a newer TV. The viewing angles are quite good. It does pull a little ways out from the wall and tips to each side (up, down, right, left) so I can view comfortable across several angles (including diagonally from my kitchen). It is also fairly easy to adjust placement if you need it set a little to one side or the other on the mount bracket. The tension knob is easy to use, which was necessary to keep my old heavyweight from drooping forward unexpectedly. Low-profile visual presence on the wall, though that would depend on the size of the TV being mounted; clean even lines with minimal fuss. Note there is not a lot of clearance between the TV and the wall if you do not keep the TV extended, so if your TV is older like mine with ports facing straight to the back instead of out to the side of the screen, you may need to buy angled adapters for HDMI attachments (e,g, Amazon Fire Stick) or stiff cables.

All parts were in the package. Installation instructions were easy to follow. Quality product.

This TV mount does the job. I did not expect it to be plastic. A little difficult to move from side to side and get the full range of motion. Need to lift the TV gently to move side to side. Does tilt down as well which was desirable.

Did you see a sale on Best Buy to buy some stupid 85" TV for less than $2,000 that will 100% die on you in less than 2 years? You're in luck! This will definitely last a lot longer than that! This is a very strong piece of equipment, and the only challenges are 1) finding the TWO studs needed to install it on and 2) lifting up your soon-to-die impulse purchase in your attempts at keeping up with the Joneses! It comes with a nice drill chart for you to align on the two studs you find and you just drill all willy nilly, and then you put the back panel on and then PULL on it to make sure it doesn't rip out of the wall (if it does, congratulations! You did not in fact find a stud! That's what happens when you buy the cheapest stud finder that can find a stud in mid-air because it doesn't calibrate correctly!). Now slap the TV panel on and boom, lift your giant well-thought out investment and it hooks on VERY easily. Once it's on, it's very easy to move and angle, and there's a lot motion allowed. It won't seem that way, but that's because you're forgetting your enormous TV is in fact enormous and can only bend and angle so far before its edges literally hit the wall, but rest assured, this mount can pivot further! And now enjoy your "why does the color look off? Why are there ads on this thing?" TV that your kids will accidentally stare at for too long and break it, forcing you to go through the unmounting and remounting process all over again whenever BestBuy has yet another "exclusive just for YOU!" sale in their attempt to dump their unsold inventory!
