Q: Are these absolutely airtight?

Not completely no. They are alright and the kids do stay on fine and it has some air tightness but no they aren’t completely air tight.

Q: Would the large one fit two bags of ground coffee still in their bags?

I don't drink coffee, so I can't really say. It measures 8 in. tall, 3 in. wide and 5 in. across. I bought the set for keeping things in my bathroom.

Q: Can anyone tell me how many ounces each container holds or how many cups each will hold?

Not exact but the little one will hold about 1 cup, the medium about 2-2.5 cups and the big one probably 3-4 cups.

Q: What is the actual color?

The actual color is a mint green but it’s more of a neutral mint green. It is very similar to what it shows in the picture. If you have seen those Beautiful coffee makers/toasters, etc. by Drew Berrymore, they are about that same color of green. I have one and they match perfectly with it.
