Review: Really pigmented, easy to apply, lasts all day - I love this eyebrow gel! I used my MAC 263 brush to apply it, and it was so easy. The gel is so soft and I don’t even have to scrape it to get much product on my brush. I didn’t notice any fallout around my eyes when I was applying it. It dries into a powder and as long as I don’t rub my brows, they stay in place. I went shopping today and ran errands, and it didn’t smudge at all. I even got a compliment from the cashier about my eyebrows! 100% buy this product!!! Review: Nice formula, but hard to select shade and “Russet” (“Light Brown”) is way too dark - This comes in a nice little plastic jar with a black top. I have medium to dark brown hair, but my brows hairs look like a muted black type color. I have tried dark brown brow products, which usually are too warm or too dark and I feel they look weird on me. I’ve tried black, which looks usually ends up being too dark. But, I’ve gotten some that were more of a muted black color and some that weren’t too pigmented, and those are the ones that have looked the best I think. I’ve even tried different taupes, and some seemed to work well but still not perfect. I’m still trying to find the right shade or shades that work for me without me feeling my brows look weird! I had trouble picking a shade because the swatches they show in the product photos were labeled with the shade names, but then when you select the color they were labeled “Light Brown,” “Dark Brown,” etc. So, I wasn’t quite sure what I was getting. Also, one product photo shows like smudges of the product itself, and then another shows swatches on an arm. For some, the swatches on the arm look slightly different from the smudges of the product. Like, “Timber” looks really warm toned in the product photo with the smudges of product, but doesn’t look warm toned at all in the product photo of swatches on the arm. In the photo of the swatch on the arm it actually looked quite cool toned. I don’t know what that was about? Maybe they built it up a lot in the swatch? Maybe it’s computer generated, which is definitely a possibility just by the way it looks. I’m not sure, but it made it really difficult picking a shade! I knew I didn’t want “Timber” because even though it looked like exactly what I was looking for in the photo of the swatch on the arm, in the photo with product smudged it looked way too warm toned. The last 2 looked way too dark. So, I decided to go with “Russet,” which I was guessing was the “Light Brown” option. So, I selected that. I was right about the “Light Brown” being “Russet.” Fortunately, at the time of this review, it seems they updated the product page so that it now shows the actual shade name when selecting a shade and not “Light Brown,” etc. So, that’s good! But, the product photo swatches are still confusing in my opinion. I don’t know where they got the idea that this is light brown. To me it is dark. It’s almost black. I’d say it’s darkest brown you can get! It’s also a little warm toned. So, the shade just doesn’t work for me. But, I still tried it out to review it. This has an interesting texture. It’s called a brow gel but it’s kind of dry feeling. I would say it’s more pomade than gel. Brow pomades and brow gels in a jar are pretty similar - they give the same texture and fullness to the brows. But, the real difference I’ve found between brow gels in jars and brow pomades are that brow gels hold the hairs in place more. Gels can make the brow hairs stiff too. This definitely doesn’t really hold the brows in place in my opinion. It gives the brows color, texture, and fullness, but doesn’t hold them in place. I don’t have unruly brows so that’s not an issue for me. But, it might be for some. It is really pigmented. It doesn’t take much at all. It applies easily and evenly. It lasts well in the brows. Unfortunately, while, I liked the formula, I don’t think this is for me. The color didn’t work for me and there is only 1 shade lighter and that looks way too warm toned for me. I definitely wouldn’t want to go any darker because “Russet” is about the darkest brown I’ve seen before getting to black. If they got more shades and I could actually pick a shade easily, I wouldn’t mind trying it again, especially at the currently reduced price of $9.99 (down from regular price of $16.50). I give it 4 stars. It works really well. But I took a star off for color selection and the color being so dark for the second shade in (and what, at the time of me selecting it, they called “Light Brown”).

color is off
it's a weird color, it's not totally brown, it's not a match for my black hair. and i find it a little hard to use.

Seems to be a Very Good Eyebrow Product
The first time I tried to apply this I put way too much on my eyebrow brush (does not come with a brush) and my brows looked too thick and nearly black. I had to remove it all with makeup remover and start over. If I just barely touch the brush to the surface of the gel I get the right amount and can apply it much better and the color is more brown than black and can make it look like natural eyebrows. I have scant eyebrow hairs so I'm always up for trying eyebrow products that go on well, look like real eyebrows and last a long time. I applied this makeup around 4:00 pm, and still had enough eyebrows left the next morning so it doesn't wear off very easily. That's good because I play a lot of tennis and sweat. I haven't yet tried this eyebrow makeup in hot weather (still winter here) but definitely plan too. If it comes off with sweat I'll update this review but for now I like it a lot.

Nice product but so dark
Let me disclaimer but saying I used as minimal amount in my brows as possible, just using really fine brush strokes to fill in sparse parts of the ends. If I used a full amount it would look crazy dark and unnatural. I have black hair and so I thought this greyish black Moss color would be light enough but it’s still super dark. I think I would prefer this as an eyeliner gel and so that’s what I’m going to use it as. For eyebrows like mine, dark but sparse (so noticeable when you use too dark of gels) I actually prefer using brow powder because it’s not as heavy when applied. That’s my recommendation. I tried the gel but it’s not for me or the look I want to achieve

Lovely brow gel
This gel is quite a bit darker than I was hoping for and unfortunately was not a good match for me. It went on well, and for those who want a well defined power brow, this is your gel! I should have realized that they were quite serious by the verbiage, Dark Brown so be aware. I looked at the pictures and figured it was worth the risk. I played with it for a bit and was unable to put it on light enough that it looked good on my face but as a product, it’s really nice. I used makeup wipes to remove it and was able to easily remove it that way but it did take a bit of a scrub to do so. I have no doubt about the long lasting claims.

Deeply Pigmented, Moss Looks Darker Than Expected, Only Need Light Application, Color Transfers
My hair turned gray in my late 20’s, and I’ve been getting it dyed back to my natural dark brown color (level 3) for ages. My brows stayed dark brown for a long time, but I eventually started tinting them when I had enough gray to be noticeable and by then I also had some thinning. I don’t normally do anything beyond tinting and plucking a few strays. But my appointments aren’t always timed perfectly, so I wanted to try this K7L Cosmetics Moss Waterproof Brow Define Gel (Dark Brown) to darken and fill in my brows in between appointments. I picked the Moss color as my hair is so dark brown that many people think it’s black. In hindsight, a shade lighter would likely be better as Moss is so dark on me that it looks a bit harsh or masculine. Still, it’s wearable so long as I apply it sparingly with a small angled brush. I do like that Moss doesn’t have any red tone, and the product is deeply pigmented. It’s soft so my brush picks it up easily. It does transfer if rubbed or touched even many hours after application, but that may be normal (don’t know). Like it. 4 stars.

Too dark and goes on thick
I love gel for my eyebrows….. but not this gel. I got dark brown and it looks black when applied. I used a little and my eyebrows were so dark. It wipes off easily and smears. I wouldn’t get this again.
