Men's Steens Mountain Vest

Heads will turn when you walk by wearing this awesome vest. It’s warm and cozy and well made. It’s Columbia of course and you can’t go wrong. The material is great, well made, and the zippers zip and stay put. Fashion and a cool design, I’m so glad I’ve got mine. The two tone color looks nice. Heads will turn, once or twice because you’ll look nice!

I'm a big guy. I really like that the sizes go to 5x. I have never owned a vest type jacket and I love it! Im 69 now and I'm cold often. But a coat is to hot. This is just perfect. Keeps me warm but not hot! It's very soft and comfortable. The pockets are giant. I am VERY pleased with this jacket. Definitely recommend it!

There are zillions of fleece vests out there, but this stands out for the quality construction and the overall savoir-faire of this company in making outerwear. It’s the details here that impress soon as you put this garment on. It’s easy to zip up, comfortable in fit, a collar that does not scratch and the fabric feels wonderfully soft, but with body (not a floppy rag). The zipper pulls on the pockets are large and easy to access. The main closure zipper is easy to clasp and pull. Those sound mundane, but try a poorer quality vest that has floppy fabric, no interfacing in the construction, which makes it difficult to zip up with cheap small zippers too lightweight for the fabric, too small zipper pulls, tiny pockets, and you will appreciate the details that make this vest worth your investment. A pretty nice for the price. I feel they run a little bit large certainly in the waist so I move from a large to a medium. I’m 5’7” 185lbs. Also, the black is really more of a dark, dark gray.

Great quality vest. The material was thin, so it would not be too warm when wearing it indoors. The arm hose were the perfect size.

i love this vest! exactly what i was looking for, light weight, good looking, decent color choices...couldn't ask for more, and a trusted brand as well. i got it cause i don't usually wear a coat in the new england winters but considering my age now, and the super cold temps we've been having, i wanted a vest to just retain some warmth on my body. this is not an arctic rated product by any stretch and i wasn't looking for one. it serves the intended purpose i wanted. it does the job, keeps my upper torso plenty warm and out of the wind while keeping my arms free. paired with a long sleeved tee and flannel shirt, i'm good to go. i wouldn't spend hours outside on single digit temp days with just this vest, but i'm good to go from house to warm truck and back again. short forays on those freezing days. the collar stands tall also to protect the neck. i can use this right through to spring, and maybe on those chilly summer evenings. fits my needs. i found sizing ran true. i got my normal size, 3x. i'm a big guy and hard to fit. i'm glad i didn't get the recommended 2x size, the 3 is great. not snug either, with some room for layers. i'm very happy with this product.

This is very nicely made, and the price was right. . I went with the other reviewers' advice and got a size smaller than i thought I would need, and it was perfect. Still some wiggle room left and not tight at all. 6' 260lb. size: 2X

My son loves these vests and wears them religiously in school as his teacher loves to have the window open during the winter. He says its wear and versatile as its light and it doesn’t overheat him even when sitting in a warm classroom. Outside while at recess he notes its warm and not bulky to annoy him. The vest are light and look well made and stand up to being washed constantly, not everyday but least three times a month.
