T-Fal Ultimate Hard Anodized Nonstick Sauté Pan 8 Inch Oven Safe 400F Cookware, Pots and Pans, Dishwasher Safe, Onyx

This is my replacement for the 8-inch pan in the T-Fal Ultimate pan set that I bought 3 years ago. The lid in that set fit this pan. We use the 8-inch pan 1-3 times daily. My wife and kids like it best because it's lighter than the 12-inch, fits perfectly on the burner so it heats up faster than the other pots and pans, and it's big enough to make scrambled eggs for 5 at one time. It developed a few knicks and cuts in the bottom in the first year, then the dot in the center became a solid red blob and finally the silver and black checkering became a solid black. By the end of the 3rd year it was still non-stick but a little spray or butter definitely helped. It never broke down to the point that we worried about Teflon in our food. The handle is comfortable and stayed firmly attached with no gaps or looseness. To me, holding up well after 3 years of heavy usage is pretty impressive for a non-stick pan.

These particular red dot pans are fantastic. The best I've ever used and I've used a ton in my day. I'm a senior. I even recommended these to my mom who is 95 years old and she loves them too! I had the deep fryer pan for 7+ yrs, perfect! Love these pans. The interior never sticks and doesn't flake off if treated the right way. Hand wash, it's super easy. Keep something in between the pans while storing like paper towels and use safe utensils. It's a super small price to pay to keep these pans perfect! I hate it when foods stick. I hate it worse when trying to find ANOTHER set of pans (acckk) that's usually followed by broken dreams and another waste of money. I can't say enough about these wonderful pans but that I love them!

Best non-stick saute / fry pan I've owned. It's dishwasher safe and really IS non-stick. The handles are comfortable to hold. The only note of caution is that the bottom of the pans are a bit slick, so hold onto them when stirring or they'll slide right off of the burner. I've had these for a few weeks and put them in the dishwasher every day. They've held up well. No signs of the coating chipping, cracking or peeling. They are free of BPA, PFAO, lead and other nasty stuff. Definitely a great quality, heavyweight pan. Heat distributes evenly. They brown, saute, and simmer beautifully. Great non--stick performance. Cooks well and evenly when using recommended heat settings (i.e. avoid high heat--not needed). Quality build. Especially like the deeper than average pan design for sautéing and liquids. Only minor complaint (only with this particular size pan of this line of T-fals) is the balance on the stovetop--a bit handle-heavy, yet workable. That's why I gave it 4 and not 5 stars. I've worked briefly as a pro chef in the past, and have owned/used many of the far more costly cookware brands. This is my second anodized T-Fal pan (also have larger lidded sauté pan), and like them as much or better than the expensive ones. Like all non-stick cookware, they have a limited lifespan. That said, I'm impressed with the longevity and utility of these T-Fal models, and won't waste my money on the other snob brands in the future.

My wife and I have gone through several medium and high-priced non-stick pans over the years. We found this to be quite good. In fact, after buying the first one, I bought two more (the 8", 10", and 12"). The handle is comfortable. It's rubbery so it's slip-resistant. The pan is solid without being too heavy. I appreciate the marker in the center that lets me know when it's hot enough for cooking. To cook with it I pour maybe a teaspoonful of vegetable oil in the center. I spread it around the bottom and sides with a folded paper towel. On my gas range I set the control to 3 (of a scale of 1 to 6). In a couple of minutes it's ready. I've cooked eggs, chicken tenders, fish, and meat on it. Nothing has stuck so far. I do use non-stick tools, though (I'm not going to tempt fate and use metal even though they're permitted). To clean I just use some hot water, a little detergent to clean the inside and wipe down the outside. It's a very nice pan. We've been using the first one we bought since March. It's now the end of July. It still looks like new. It's replaced a Calphalon that we spent more for and that now sticks like the devil

This is the second time I've bought the T-fal Ultimate series of pan. My first one was a 12 inch version to replace an old pan that had worn out - I loved it so much that I've looked for an excuse to replace my other pans with the Ultimate series pans. As long as you don't just crank up your stove to HIGH and burn the pan it will last you many years and remain super easy to clean. (Don't ask me how I know)

Good size, comfy grip. I had high expectations given it was T-fal, unfortunately the non-stick didn't even one cook with eggs as they burnt on and has the pan hasn't been non-stick from the first cook.

I had purchased the larger version of this frying pan well over 2 years ago and have been incredibly pleased with it. The pan still looks and cooks like new unlike other non-stick pans. I do hand wash it as opposed to putting it in the dishwasher. Found myself wanting a smaller version and was thrilled to see it available in an 8". I do not use any type of spray type Pam or the like on anything since I've read it can destroy a non-stick surface but a small amount of oil or butter although not necessary can't hurt it at all. It cooks evenly...cleans beautifully - you won't be sorry if you purchase this.

Compré hace unos meses el sartén de 30cm y me pareció de muy buena calidad, ahora compré el pequeño y estoy feliz. Muy recomendable.

Lo he usado diario, he preparado huevos, freido carne, salteado verduras, y creo que es perfecto para el uso sencillo que le estoy dando. No tengo nada para quejarme
