Urban CoCo Women's Basic Midi Skirt Versatile Stretchy Flared Casual High Waisted Skirt

So, there were a couple of things I was worried about. One, the material. It’s SLIGHTLY sheer, but only if you’re holding it to light. I usually wear bike shorts under skirts and dresses so it’s not a problem. Really not very see through. It’s kind of a sporty type material so it’s fine for a casual outfit. Two, sizing. My waist is like, 33-34-35-36 or so (depends on the day…. Y’all know how it is) I bought a large. Large is very comfortable, not too tight. That being said, the material is very stretchy so I could probably go with a medium as well. Three, The cut. I have broad shoulders and narrow hips so I wanted a skirt that would flare to kind of give the illusion that my hips were wider than they are and my shoulders more narrow. This skirt absolutely does that. AND SOMEHOW when I look at myself from the side, this skirt makes it look like my butt curves out more flatteringly as well!! I bought the “long” style. I’m 5’3” and it goes down to just before my knee. I’m very pleased. I’m heavier than I used to be but this skirt is very flattering on me, in my opinion.

The waistband is a comfortable fit, and I like my appearance in the mirror 🤩.

This skirt is adorable! It swings as I walk and the material is thick enough that I don't have to worry about it being see-through at all. The wide waistband is comfortable and made to sit high on the waist. It stops right at my knees. My only complaint is that the waistband is tight.. I ordered a size up and still found the waistband a little tight. Just be aware when ordering.

I got this for my sister and she really liked it. She liked to layer it with other skirts and she thought it was very soft. It was stretchy and comfortable to wear. I only wish it had pockets lol.

I'm a man. I'm 73 years old. I love this skirt! It's perfect in every way possible. I got an extra large as google said it had gone on thousands of recommendations and they were right (there must be a lot of really skinny girls/women out there). It fits perfectly! It's the right length, it's the right feel, it's the right everything! I love this skirt and I think you will too.

It was a gift from my husband and fits well. Unfortunately it is not my style (above the knees) and accentuates the size of my hips (not in a flattering way). I like the skirt. It drapes nicely, doesn’t wrinkle and is cute and sassy. I would have totally rocked it 40 years ago. It’s sweet that my husband thinks of me as that young woman he fell in love with.

The skirt was really nice colorful and the waistband can stretch so it was very comfy!

I wasn’t going to give it 5 stars for flattering, because at 5’ 2” and 160 pounds, a flare skirt is not the most flattering shape on my body. I ordered the XL and it fit perfectly. I have a pear shaped body, and currently wear a size 12-14 in pants. My fault…not the skirt! If you wear a size small I’m sure this skirt would look sexy! BF liked it on me. HOWEVER… I needed a flare skirt because I am taking ballroom dance lessons. This is the best shaped skirt in order to be able to move properly and do the steps. IT IS PERFECT as a ballroom practice skirt!!! The material is nice and has enough stretch to be flattering but not so much to be annoying. The wasteband is LLR type and very flattering considering my weight gain. The skirt falls right at my knee, and it twirls nicely when I spin! The fabric is a nice weight but not too thick. This skirt is comfortable. I also got a navy one and it looks different because of the color, but I also love it. I’m probably going to order several more! I am so excited to finally be able to have skirts I can dance in! Considering practice skirts on the dance sites cost about $100 each, the skirt is a steal! Five star purchase all the way!

this is the second skirt I've ordered from this brand, the first was the velvet mini (in size large), and comparatively this skirt (size medium, midi length) has more stretch in the waistband. the length is lovely, and worn at my waist falls a little longer than the velvet mini worn at my hips. it's a great length, and a very comfortable fabric. it is indeed noticeably textured as other reviews noted, but I don't see this as a flaw. it is a brighter red than I expected, but not extremely so. in terms of transparency, it seems more opaque than the first skirt I ordered, and the fabric seems thicker and more substantial. it is worth noting with this particular skirt, given the stretch in the fabric, I could have sized down and gotten a small for a closer fit at my natural waist. however, with the medium I can easily wear it at my hips or high-waisted. I had intended to get the black version of this midi, and the fit is nice enough that I may get it as well when it restocks. this brand does live up to its hype, imo. the skirts are basic wardrobe staples, and seem sturdy enough, but time will tell with regard to that. update - when I saw the black midi restocked I ordered it. and having been wearing it, as well as the red midi and the black crushed velvet mini, my conclusion here is that these skirts are excellent given the price. they're all incredibly comfortable but about these midis specifically, the length is perfect. maybe a bit short for some but I'd say that's subjective and depends on height and personal comfort zones. the waistband yes, does move. the elastic is not stitched into the band, which is fine. it's a very minimal adjustment to fix the elastic. overall, I love these skirts. very comfortable, opaque, versatile. at this price point I'm not expecting to spend the rest of my life with them but that's ok.

I'm 177cm tall, 65kg, C cup, have hips, long legs. The skirt sits hideously on. Material is rough. Strange length and cut. Huge regret purchasing this skirt. On the positive, fast ivery.
