Perfect bracket but caution on the screws
The brackets are perfect. However, I'm putting it on two pieces of hard maple (2" thickness) and the screws just snapped apart while screwing it in. I had some spare #8 metal screws laying around and they worked fine. The packaged screws are just cheap. If you are attaching to anything hard or dense, I would use your own screws.I give it a 4 because the bracket worked perfectly. I threw away the screws. :)

Pre Drilled and countersunk
Needed a few of these for a home project. Very sturdy, not thin and cheap. Pre drilled cut my work by 2/3 to install these.

Straight Braces are grerat - the screws were all rusted in zip sealed bag
The flat straight braces are very strong. I need one for a project and it worked out fine. Used my own machine screws, washers and nuts.Was kind of disappointed that the screws that were included were rusted. I was afraid to open the package.

I used these to re-attach a railing post.
I fixed a mistaken diagonal cut of a railing posdt. 4 of hese make it secure and it moves the entire post when I shake it!!
