I first found out about this at Bloomingdales when I was looking to see what they sell for sterling silver. I bought my first jar 20 years ago and it lasted for over 15 years because I didn't use that much at a time and I don't have too many items to polish. Over time it does dry out a bit, but with a bit of water it works just the same. I like this because it is non-toxic, I don't have to worry about breathing in toxic fumes, nor getting it on my skin, although I do use rubber gloves when I use this. It has the consistency of thick pudding; I wet a cellulose sponge, dip it in the jar, with the foam on the sponge, and rub it over the silver item, quickly removing built up tarnish. With older tarnish, it may take a bit of elbow grease, but over all it works really well. I know there are a lot of things on social media today, showing using foil, and baking soda, which although it may work, it also causes microscopic pitting in the silver surface which cannot be undone or fixed, so why take a chance if you have quality silver with methods that are not safe nor good for the item? Overall, I wouldn't trust anything else to silver items, whether sterling or silver plate. This works so well, so easily, and the fact that it isn't toxic, is a winner to me.

This is the best polish. It’s creamy and easily restores silver to shiny. Easy on. Easy off.

I LOVE THIS foam, it clean beautifully without the need of to much rubbing the silver dishes, it works as a "soap" one you put the foam in it and wash under water the tarnish will disappear.

It really works on badly tarnished jewelry, but it is a little hard to get into little nooks and crannies. That being said, it takes of tarnish pretty easily, didn't damage stones, pearls, opals, glass, or beads. It did dull amber a little bit, but so does heat, so that's a tricky one anyway. I will definitely use this from now on, for both ease and results.

we were using tarnex with less an less satisfaction in the results. It would get our silver clean but the tarnish would reappear after a short while. We switched to Hagerty and were very pleased with the cleaning results and the time it took for the tarnish to reappear.

Couldn’t believe how shiny…it’s even better than twinkle. Only downside is that didn’t come with a sponge. Grade A+

I've used Hagerty's silver polish for years. It's gentle enough so that you can apply it and scrub with your fingers for a lasting polish of anything silver or silverplated. Just recently I used it on some copper coins---just the same, gentle, nonabrasive cleaning of those, too. I've just re-ordered this product for the nth time and it arrived in a couple days, safely boxed inside corrugated cardboard. It's the best!

Excelente producto

This stuff really works! It took me a while to do this antique jewelry box because it was very tarnished but it looks brand new again. I'm impressed by the results and how well it works. I got quite a bit of product for the amount that I spent so I feel it will last me a while. I even went and cleaned up all my jewelry afterwards and it all looks new again! If I ever run out, I'll be buying it again!
