Black Rubber 018-312-EKD for 1" x 15/16" x 35' D-Seal RV Slide Out System

Easy installation! I removed the 17 year old seal and this simply slides right back into the original track. However, a little trick when sliding 12 foot across the top. I found that at first it would slide on easy until you would get about 3 foot on and then it would be to much friction to continue. So I sprayed WD40 onto the track ( one more use for WD40 !) and it slide on easy ! Other than the friction issue, which is not the seals issue, it is durable, well made, and should last at least another 17 years!

I was dreading replacing my slide 'bubble' seal that was falling apart. A local repair shop wanted twice the price for a replacement seal. This was an exact fit. VERY easy to install (removing the old seal was messy, but easier than I thought it would be) Looks great .... seems to seal as it should ...... good product.

Fits well. Works as well as original seal. The “D” seals on my RV, seem to need replacing more often than the rest of the seals. Even when new, the material is sticky, presumably so that the seal is better around the slide outs, which causes it to eventually begin tearing when the slides are moved out. May try adding a flat, thin Teflon (or any) non-stick surface to oppose the D seal so that the release is better which may help increase the time between replacement.

Little stiffer than the original but worked great as a replacement

We installed on our slide outs on the RV. It’s very straight forward. Depending on the length you are putting on it can be difficult and a 2nd pair of hands is helpful. We used a very mild mix of soapy water to spritz on the rail so it would slide. It came off the rail a couple of times while sliding it on. You just pull it off and start over. It’s a little hard to hold onto, but saves a lot of money over paying someone else to do it. Don’t forget to caulk it after you are done.

The bulb seal along the top of one of our slide outs had worn through. The roll was long enough to replace the top and both side seals. The rubber was soft and flexible. I'd buy this again when/if the other slide seals need replacing.

We have a 2018 Jayco Journey Outback caravan with a slide out which includes the bed and cafe style table / seating. The wiper seals were torn away and whilst I had been assured that they are not essential to keeping the weather out, given internal seals were in good condition, I wanted everything on the van to be right. Jayco did not have seals and did not seem keen to order any so I found this product on Amazon. They were perfect for the job, only needed to cut the width down by 20mm and fit them on. The hardest part of the whole task was removing the old butyl tape adhesive before fitting the new ones.
