Chefs knife 8 inch by Kika Line - high carbon stainless steel blade - professional choice - EVA gift box (Black)

Gave to father as xmas gift. But used it a bit before going home, it’s fantastic. The knife it was replacing was one he had from my great grandfather, probably 40 or 50 years old, and it actually broke in half the very same day I gave him this one! Trying to cut through a turnip that had had enough and decided to fight back, I guess. Anyway, the Kika Line avenged his fallen brother, and then went after some of the turnip’s co-conspiritors. It’s super sharp and has very nice ergonomics. And that video review where the guy cuts paper with it is not a fluke, it was the first thing we did with it. Mighty impressive. Cut some pepper with it afterwards, no problems. I don’t know how long pakkawood holds up, that’s the main thing I wonder about. And the blade says “stainless steel”, with no overt mention of carbon, so I’m hoping it’s easy to sharpen by hand but not sure. But no regrets with the purchase. And the packaging makes it a very nice gift.

This chefs knife is the best that I've ever held in my hands! Balance is perfect. Blade is pristine, polished even, down to the edge. This blade does everything this type of blade is supposed to, with ease and precision. I've cut salmon, tuna, mako, shrimp, chicken, pork, and steak with this (I bring it with to the restaurant I work at) and cut cleaner thinner and with so much less effort than other knives. It's on par with a far more expensive knives.

Decent knife for the price, it handles well and the weight is good. Only negative is that is does dull quite quickly.

It has beautiful and very comfortable handle, it was very easy to hold while cutting. The knife is very sharp and its a great feeling to use it for making food. Amazing chef's knife! A great knife it holds it sharpness and it's well balanced blade and handle. The chefs knife itself feels smooth when I use it. Haven't had any issues with it. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good knife for a great price.

This knife is a home cook's dream, it looks amazing and is sharp enough to cut smoothly through tomatoes without shredding them. It is my go to knife every time i cook. The packaging was very chic as well! Love it!!!

100% absolutely love this knife. Now I see the difference between a quality knife and a regular one. I won't waste my money on anything else. Not necessary!
