This knife is on the larger side, especially in the grip. It will not get lost in the pocket. It came with fairly smooth action and acceptably sharp. With a little TLC it is now a slice smooth beast. I sharpened it to 600 grit then on a 6 then 3 micron strop. It is now a hair whittling razor. Literally! Absolutely awesome knife that you actually want to use. Great job PF!

I really liked the large handle and how well it fit my hand size, perfect ergonomics for me. I like the large blade visually. For all its breadth it isn't so thick to be uncomfortable in the pocket. I have a lot of knives and this one is a winner! The K110 steel is a budget tool steel performer also. Try one, you'll like it.

After seeing some reviews online, I pulled the trigger on this knife and had no regrets. Great fit and finish, you can tell it's a quality product, and my mind was blown by the price. Do not hesitate, It's a safe purchase.

I discovered today the hype around this knife is legitimate. They could easily double the price and it would still be worth it. The fit/finish, lockup, sharpness, ergonomics are all top notch. It came with a cleaning cloth, extra set of washers, and a whole set of extra screws. These are touches you don't even see from manufacturers that charge quadruple for their knives.

I purchased two of these with high expectations from all the hype on the budget knife pages, but i was pretty let down strictly from the edge retention. The knives look amazing and deploy amazingly but after 1 week of fairly moderate use the edge was rolled to the point cutting anything was a chore and i found myself not enjoying carrying either of these anymore. The blue micarta is some of the best looking and feeling ive held and the satin finish on the blue one is just as beautiful. I resharpened and tried to carry again but yet again i only made it a week before it was dull as could be again. Ive used pretty nice knives and very budget knives and the steel was just a huge let down for me. Id have preferred D2 or even 8cr had this price point.

Man this a is a great offering from Petrified Fish, love this and a great addition to my collection. If you like larger knives this is for you.

Very sharp out of the box. But it’s too large to get a grip for secure open/deployment of the blade. I’ suggest getting the mini version of your hands are small.

For the price I was not hoping for a lot from this knife. Straight out of the box it was exceptionally sharp. The first impression of the quality is it is a very durable knife. I guess time will tell seeing I've only had it a couple days. We'll see how it stands up to farm life.

I use this knife as a secondary bushcraft knife and it has a really reassuring heft to it. Opens easily and holds an edge really well. I have given it some real abuse and it hasn’t let me down. This is my second Petrified Fish folding knife. Highly recommend!
