Would it be possible to connect a Bluetooth transmitter via the aux input?

Hi, I would recommend connecting a Bluetooth transmitter to the headphone socket rather than the AUX OUT socket. This would turn the integrated speakers off and transmit the audio wirelessly to either Bluetooth headphones or wireless Bluetooth speakers.

Can i connect my record player deck

Hi, in theory yes. This stereo has an AUX IN connection for connecting any other piece of audio equipment, so as long as your record player has an AUX OUT socket this should be fine. However, this would depend on the audio output from your record player ultimately.

Seemed good at first.

The speaker wires are very short so you have to locate them close to the unit. The remote control is very hit and miss and will only work effectively if it is close to the unit. I have struggled with the CD player to the point I have stopped trying with it !!!
