Excellent quality and well made. They are a very generous capacity for a single serving. I used them to make Chicken Pot Pies. These will also be a great size to make small pies if you’re only serving a couple of people.

Love these individual pie plates! The quality of them is superb, nice glaze finish, heavy weight and performs well in the oven. They were packed properly and had no chips or cracks. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a robust serving of a pot pie.

As other reviewers state, this is a generous serving bowl for an individual meal—shepherd’s pie, moussaka, lasagna, and pot pies—which is specifically why I bought these in red. Unfortunately one dish arrived with a jagged chip on the ruffled edge despite the packaging that seemed ample. The replacement process made my life easy bc they sent me a new set without cost immediately, no hassle, arriving in only two days--THEN...that shipment came with one dish less than perfect. It had a glazing error on the side of the bowl where some 'white' showed through. However, bc I still had my first set yet to be returned, I cobbled together four perfect bowls to keep. Despite my problem being easily resolved, I would suggest NOT giving these as gifts. For myself to keep the set, it was a problem easy to rectify; but I wouldn't take a chance giving this as a gift to someone else bc I would worry that something like this would happen again. I made chicken pot pie in these and it was a good hearty serving. I am going to make Shepherd's Pie next. You will look far and wide for a round, deep dish, holding 16 ounces like this one, and never find it….so look no further. Your search has ended. Despite all, I am very happy with these bowls.

I got these to make individual homemade pot pies. The set is well made, looks good and cooks great but is a tad too large for an individual Pot Pie, in my book. It makes more of a “pie for two” - meaning you split one in half for two to share. Same for fruit pies - make 4 small pies and then cut them into thirds to serve with ice cream. I really like the set - they are well made and are quality pie plates. I use them to make pot pies - we just split one now because it’s too much for one person to eat otherwise - and believe me, we don’t “eat like birds” in this house!

Have only used once so far but held up well in oven. Perfect for individual chicken pot pies. Also used as individual ice cream bowls. The red is very pretty.

Der absoluter Hingucker auf dem Tisch. Super verpackt bei mir angekommen. Beim Auspacken hat mich schon die Farbe begeistert, ein richtig sattes rot. Die Größe ist für vieles geeignet, vom kleinen Kuchen bis hin zu überbackenen Nudelgerichten, da hat jeder am Tisch seine eigene Form und es gibt keine zerrupften Speisen aus einer großen Form beim Verteilen
