This is a great watch band. Looks great, long lasting. I just bought my 2nd one. The first one I bought lasted almost 4 years across 2 versions of watch. Way longer than I expected for a $20 watch band. When you first get the band, the leather is pretty stiff, but it gets better after some use and becomes very comfortable. The holes lasted the entire time I had it without stretching out like some cheap leather belts do. I bought a 2nd one of the Black/Red to replace my previous one (pin broke) and also another color for some variety.

Fits perfectly on a Timex Indeglow. Nice quality leather and easy to install.

I purchased the brown/silver colorway for $20 in October 2023. It arrives in a basic ziploc bag with just the strap and no tools. While these straps can be installed without tools using the quick release spring bars, I still think it would have been nice if Ritche included a spring bar tool, since you might need one to take your original straps off. My biggest problem with this strap is that it is NOT top grain leather as advertised in the description of the item. If you look at my pictures you can see that it is clearly stamped with "genuine leather" on the back of the strap. Their product photos don't show the genuine leather label either. I've removed one star for false advertising which is never appreciated. For those unfamiliar, "genuine leather" is the lowest quality of leather on the market, with "top grain" sitting one grade higher and "full grain" being the highest quality. I would not have purchased this strap if I had known it was only genuine, seeing as the equivalent Barton only costs $8 more. Still, I'm going to rate the product 4 stars because it seems decently well built and feels like it would last about as long as you'd expect a $20 leather strap to last. The hardware is made of all stainless steel and seem sturdy enough. The buckle is unsigned which I appreciate as well. And installation is a breeze with the quick release spring bars. Out of the box, it is a very light colored strap which is what I wanted. The color deepened a bit after I applied some conditioner, but still appears quite anemic as you can see compared to the Barton which is almost the exact same strap. Still, I don't mind it and I think the gingerbread look will go well with some watch dials. It wears comfortably on the wrist. Honestly I would recommend that you spend a few dollars more and go for the Barton. Between the deeper, richer color and the higher quality materials I think it would be worth it. However if all you have is $20 to spend then the Ritche should serve you well too.

Perfect fit. Very comfortable shortly after installation. Follow care instructions, the manufacturer doesn't recommend pre-oiling and I followed this. Quality build, great look (black), conforms to your wrist quickly. Incredible value.

Well made leather watch band. Looks great on my rewood kilroy solar.

This is a well crafted, well styled watch band, superior to the original on my Timex Explorer watch. The seems to be holding up well, and is actually more comfortable than the original. The problem arises with the binding posts. Although the design is innovative, with a spring loaded mechanism so that the pins cannot be lost, and installing the band is much easier than with the the standard binding pins that hold the band in place, the pins themselves are a few centimeters too short, Thus the band will not hold in place as designed, and under even a bit of stress, the watch will fall off the wrist. What I've done is to place pieces of Mounting Tape on opposite sides of the flanges on the watch for mounting the band, trimmed as best I was able (2 on one side, 1 on the other), and that seems to be working, without noticalb e defect. Were the manufacturers to add a mere 1 or 2 centimeters to the length of their spring loaded pins, they would have an unqualified 5 Star product, in my opinion.

First, it's a nice looking band. I just bought a beautiful new watch with a black leather band, but wanted a brown one to swap out from time to time. After I took the original black band off, and with a bit of difficulty because it wasn't Quick Release like this new one, I knew that that OLD black band was never going back on. I nearly scratched it up just trying to remove it. I just ordered the black one here instead. The Quick Release feature should have been the norm for watch bands years ago, because it makes band swapping easy. I have smaller wrists, and some have mentioned the buckle shifting to an undesirable position on the back. I didn't find that to be bothersome. The second, moveable "keeper" or loop to hold the end snug against the band kept the end from sticking out awkwardly and showing the bright reverse side of the band. An easy last step for putting on the watch. I'm sticking to Quick Release from now on.

My 2nd purchase to replace the one I bought in Jun 2022. I noticed a change in design and now it only includes a single loop (would have preferred a double). Note that colour will darken over use and time, and when wet. See photo of old and new strap side by side for comparison. I do like the colour better when it ages. I ordered 'coffee' colour.
