My daughter has a beam she can’t practise on as it shakes and moves all over the place on my wood floor** A: I’m no expert but it seems quite sturdy to me. Legs bolt to the beam and have plastic/rubber end caps on feet. I don’t see how it could be made more sturdy. **Q: How heavy is this item? Wondering how easy it would be to carry in and out of garage to use?** A: It's not that heavy. Could easily be moved around. The finish is very nice, a sort of alcantara type velvet. If you intend to stack it against a wall, you'd need to stick a towelor bit on f carpet over the beam to protect against damage. **Q: do the legs extend atall to make it taller** A: No, the legs are fixed but this does make it very stable.
