Can replacement find be ordered? My cats chewed them off

Mine never worked properly even after buying new batteries. The company didn't want to do anything about it though

Can you turn off light to extend battery life?

My theory is the water is part of the power circuit. The batteries don't run that long anyway. But you could try to blowdry the fish to break the circuit.

Since it is electronics with batteries how well do they do with water proof fish. How is it that they can continue to work on battery operated .

They work just fine. They don't swim very vigorously though. The hex bug fish swim much better.
