Inexpensive but the adhesive on the envelopes doesn't work.

I purchased them in the spring to use for wedding thank you notes. I found much nicer stationery (without spending much more). I recently went to use one of the them for a basic thank you only to find that the adhesive strips had all separated from the paper of the envelopes and had somehow bled through, creating what looks like a greenish mold on each envelope. (They had been kept in a fully dry environment) Throwing the envelopes out and will use the cards in my preschool classroom as writing center supplies. The notecards are of pretty basic quality and design and have withheld the test of a few months, unlike the envelopes.

It might be an old fashioned mentality but I always find far more value in hand-written "thank you's" and this set provides the classy and elegant opportunity to do so! The weight and quality of the cards are wonderful and sturdy. I would choose to write with an ink or sharpie pen however ball-point would also look great on the cardstock. I didn't realize the size is smaller than traditional cards which is actually nice and keeps the note short and sweet. These would be ideal for post-wedding or graduation party thank you cards because the set has 50 cards and the nice storage box makes the act of writing thank you cards more enjoyable. The self-adhesive sticker on the envelope would also make for a faster production and be more sanitary. With all the cards on amazon to choose from, I am very happy that I went with these! This set of thank you cards perfectly met my needs. I just wanted a pack of simple but elegant cards and this was just that. The "Thank You" and the basic design alongside it is very beautifully displayed on the card. The back of the card fortunately doesn't contain any frivolous and unnecessary content that you see with other cards, all it has is the brand name written in small font perfectly centered in the bottom. The card itself is very thick and appears to be made from high end material. In addition to the high quality card, it comes with self-adhesive envelopes so all I needed to do was peel and seal. That makes it so much more convenient and looks so much more professional than having to use water to close it, which just gets all messy. On top of all that it comes in a nice durable box to keep all the cards and envelopes organized and clean without getting folded. I'm very happy to be sending these to all my guests and will definitely look to reorder for other occasions.

The card is 1/2 inch smaller in width and height than the envelope which I find to be too small. I will be returning my order. I could not find this disclosed in the product description.

In my opinion, these are the perfect thank-you cards for any occasion. The card stock is a good weight and the size is just right for two or three sentences expressing appreciation. The self-adhesive envelopes work well and their color matches the subtle scrolls and lettering on the front of the card. The cards come folded in a nice box and are very well priced at about 32 cents each on Amazon. I bought them for personal use, and would buy them again. I also think they would make a nice gift.
