This Logan Push Style replacement Cutting Head can be used with Logan Classic Compact Cutter (301-1) and Logan Team Cutting System (424 & 440) Straight Edges. Made out of durable metal it is designed with a patented blade slot and features a pivot-and-pull blade action. The blade depth is adjustable and each cutter includes a start and stop indicator. Cutter uses #270 Logan blades and includes a single blade to get started.

Adjustable blade depth
Lost my old Logan mat cutter in a house move and replaced it with this one. There is a tiny black screw on the bottom of the cutter. If you loosen it, the razor blade can make deeper cuts. I have to loosen the screw to where it is almost protruding beyond the bottom plate to cut a basic Crescent mat. I appreciate the idea of it, but miss my old no-fuss Logan cutter.
