Do you have to pay for the app?

No. But you DO have to pay for their most expensive subscription service for the most basic features, like 12-second event recordings, that are available for free on all their other devices. When people say that $1.25/mo/$20/annually "isn't much" or is "not bad", you should ignore them as unsophisticated, unknowledgeable users who don't know what they're talking about. For users (ie Wyze's best customers) with multiple cams they'd like to upgrade, it adds up quick, and is particularly insulting because Wyze's WHOLE DEAL from the beginning was to be the ones who DIDN'T charge expensive subscription fees for the most basic of features. This is why their installed user-base is really angry with this rollout (seriously, you need to look at ALL the answers to the relevant questions and ALL the reviews before buying this cam).  Even amongst low-cost cameras, Wyze's were never the best/most reliable, so now that they're requiring purchase of their most expensive subscription plan just to get the most basic functionalities you may want to look elsewhere to find something better for the same (ON-GOING) costs.
And don't even get me started on their PROPRIETARY (Ridiculous. The "U" in "USB" literally stands for "Universal") ridiculously-short power cord, which will force you to buy adapters/special cables, the inherently unreliability of such will be even further complicated by the fact that that connection will also have to be weather-proofed (THAT'S how short the supplied cord is). More expense and installation hassle than it's worth for those of us who have multiple cams to upgrade.
When Wyze announced this cam I was very excited, and was ready to buy three right off the bat. Now I'm looking to abandon my Wyze cams altogether to find a more reliable company. Many of us now feel completely abandoned/betrayed by Wyze

Supports 8 GB, 16 GB and 32 GB microSD cards in FAT32 format. We recommend using Wyze SD Card.

tiene sensor de temperatura?

No tiene.
Para efectos domésticos no creo que sea necesario ya que soportan altas y bajas temperaturas. Si la quieres usar como monitoreo para alguna área especifica (central de refrigeradores control de temperatura, por ejemplo) no te serviría.
