Review: Great Little amp! - I was very skeptical about this little amp. Well let me tell you that this thing works great! I read that some said it over heated so I mounted inside of an aluminum box with two fans. I used this amp to reuse my old set of EV speakers. They are a really nice set of speakers with a subwoofer. Well the internal amp went bad so I gutted them and wired them direct. With this little amp they sound better that they did with the original internal amp. The stereo separation is great and the subwoofer kicks way more than it did with the original amp. I just purchased two more of the little amps. I don't know how long it will last but right now this thing works great. I don't know how many watts this thing really puts out but it is quite enough to power most speakers.

**Q: Can someone please recommend the correct battery to operate this product**
A: I purchased a 24Vdc@10 amps power supply.   A lithium battery supply from parts Express using 5 18650's cells is 21Vdc and would work just fine.

**Q: Will it be useful to install a crossover? or is it not necessary?**
A: I have tree of these running Speakers and sub-woofers with no crossover.

**Q: does the main volume affect the sub volume or are they completely independent?**
A: The sub volume is not completely independent . I guess it’s kinda like having a gain adjustment on a car stereo amp ..

**Q: What is the output wattage using a 12v input at 8 ohms?**
A: 12 watts or so.  To get 50W you need 24V at about 3.5 amps at 4 ohms.

this has been in use for a few years as a garage amp. no issues whatsoever, the bluetooth range is acceptable but lacks security (no password required to pair).
