Wie gewohnt, super - schnelle Lieferung, diesmal über Amazon.com. Nach langem suchen und überlegen von Alternativen (Wischmopschleuder, 2 Eimer ineinander, etc.) doch noch eine Lösung wie früher gefunden. Leider findet man solche Handwringer in Deutschland nur noch auf Flohmärkten o. dergl. , wenn überhaupt, und es stellt sich mir die Frage warum eigentlich ? Ich bin sehr froh über diesen, der Zusammenbau ist einfach und schnell erledigt, zudem mit versch. Möglichkeiten ihn zu befestigen und mit Wasserablaufbrett (weniger Verlust von Waschwasser, je nachdem wie man wäscht). Und er macht seinen Job, so wie er soll, ja es macht richtig Spass, besonders da die Kurbel sehr leichtgängig ist. Meine Wäsche besteht aus T-Shirts, Pullis, Jeans, Socken, Handtücher, etc.. Bei Jeans oder Sachen mit Reissverschluss habe ich es weiter eingestellt, da bleibt mehr Wasser, aber dass ist meiner Vorsicht geschuldet. Der Rest wird sehr gut trocken. Natürlich nicht wie in einer elektrischen Wäscheschleuder, aber das ist ja auch kein passender Vergleich. Er macht die Kleidung so trocken, dass man sie dann gut draussen oder innen aufhängen kann und sie nicht ewig braucht um zu trocknen. Ich finde es super ein "altbekanntes" geniales Teil so neu kaufen zu können (was heute auch noch viele Homsteader in den USA verwenden). Ohne Strom, ohne Schmerzen in den Gelenken, ja ich bin ganz glücklich - ein weiteres Stück Unabhängigkeit. Über die Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen, aber es macht einen sehr stabilen Eindruck.

The Calliger Wringer is a joy to use, it makes car washing vastly more enjoyable now. The mounting system is superb, extra heavy duty. Once this is mounted securely, it will stay mounted unlike any other wringer I have tried. And the spring tensioner on this unit is superior, it features a large type spring tensioner unlike other units with coil springs. Coil springs are difficult to adjust and do not provide even pressure on the roller. The drip tray on this model is much better also. It is larger and actually works.The Calliger is an absolute pleasure to use, wringing out the chamois is so easy. And with one pass through the Calliger not one more drop can be extracted. The Calliger squeezes 95 to 98% of the water out of the chamois.I can't say enough about this model. Highly recommended. For mounting I cut a 2x6 as shown in the photo. 11" x3" is the part that goes into the bucket and that gets secured by 2, 3" screws on each side through the bucket walls and into the wood. The top part of the 2x6" is 17" across where the wringer is attached. Once the wringer is tightened down it doesn't budge because I put 1 bag of quick setting concrete into my bucket to weigh it down. It is heavy but I wheel it around with a hand truck.Update: I found a much better mounting system using a sawhorse. Since the included photo of the sawhorse was taken, I added a cross-brace (2"x4"x36") from one set of legs to the other. This is lighter, easier to move and elevated higher making it easier to use while washing the cars. I have included photos of both setups with this review. By the way, if you use the inexpensive sawhorse brackets available at Lowe's or Home Depot or Amazon, I recommend using wood or drywall screws to secure the brackets to the 2x4's. This will make the sawhorse considerably more solid. The sawhorse is lighter and easier to use than a bucket filled with 60 lbs of concrete. It is also the perfect elevation for loading the items into the wringer.I the pleasure of dealing directly with the marketplace seller of this item and they are the best! Very customer oriented and helpful. I had a slightly defective part which they replaced immediately. I have to say 5 stars because that is the highest rating available but they deserve more stars.Buy this wringer, you will not be disappointed..
