Mossberg 590 Shockwave or Tac-14 Home Defense Violin Case, Brown

It took me a while to come around to buy this case because of the price, However it is very much worth it. All firearms placed within fit exceptionally well. The foam is very dense and clean. No chemical or oil smell. The case accommodates a loaded left side saddle no problem, I see no need to modify the foam. The zipper is smooth and the nylon outer cover is very tight. The case brand label is velcro so it can be saved on a patch board. I planned to de-stitch it from the case but now plan to keep it as it is velcro. The space allows for 2 flag size patches. The only downside is the blue felt attracts all hair and is very noticable. Overall I am very happy with the case and it is worth its price.

This is a great case that fits the shockwave perfectly. The case does close with the side rail for shells. But I did make a little relief cut in the foam so it didn’t stick up so much when the case was closed. It’s not TSA approved but that’s okay. I won’t be traveling with it. Underneath can hold two pistols. I have put my Sig and S&W in there. Great case. Enjoy.

I guess I see NOW why this thing was so expensive. It's very nicely apportioned on the inside, with precise cut outs for an arsenal of different equipment. Shotgun slot, hand gun slotS (plural), shell cutouts, magazine cut outs, etc. It's multi layered and very nice looking. It's got a combo lock for the zipper that can be customized, to keep younger kids away. I'm actually impressed with it. It's the perfect case to carry everything if you are going on a trip to the range. It's not a safe, despite the lock, so I wouldn't use it as and end all be all of security, but it will deter little hands and give you a better sense of security than nothing at all. I had to modify the foam, and cut out a few sections for my laser sights and what not, and not only was that easy, but it hurt me to have to deface what was a really nice and well thought out insert. It wasn't cheap, and the price was annoying, but I'm really glad I finally, *ahem* pulled the trigger, on this purchase.

this is one of those "if I have to explain, you wouldn't understand" items. the cutouts are accurate, the quality seems to be very good, and the pieces fit very well. the removable velcro label is a nice touch if one has a mind to customize the patch on the outside. the zipper clasping is cumbersome, however. the locking mechanism is acceptable for minimum security...but they even point out that it is not intended to be a maximum-security lockout. it would be sufficient to keep younger ones from accessing the items inside (IMHO)...

Fantastic case two levels bottom layer for handguns with storage for ammo. Top layer Mossberg cutouts with cutouts for shells. A bit heavy but the functionality is Awesome!

I like the 2 layer combo that allows you to carry my Mossberg Nightstick and 2 of my Pistols and plenty of Ammo for all 3. The classic Old school cool factor of the Gangster Era case and custom cut outs are high in quality and fit and the locking zippers helps keep little hands away while stored at home .
