What is the purpose of the bungee cord?

NOTE: RESPONSE BY gblippa on July 11, 2022 IS N O T CORRECT! The bungee cord is *not* strong enough to be used to secure a pet of any size and should NOT be used to do so! It is used to keep small, lightweight items attached to the harness - poop bags, water bottle or bowl, rolled/folded dog coat, etc. Again, DO NOT use a bungee cord as any type of safety gear, leash or attachment - your pet could suffer injury or death in case of an accident or sudden stop. Be aware - unless answers are provided direct from the *manufacturer*, they should never be taken as fact (not even from the *seller*) and should not be relied upon for decision making (yes, including this response!). It is up to YOU to keep your animal safe - so please... make wise decisions.

What's the size of the velcro patch?

I have a 185 pound Great Dane....... Is there a harness that will fit him?

I would suggest you measure your dog! Go by your measurements and be sure it is sturdy enough for how he/she behaves. Also, be sure there is room for adjustment. You can usually tell by the picture if the harness is made well and comfortable for your dog. This harness works great for my 95 lb pit/lab. He is an emotional support dog and behaves extremely well. The handle does help if he gets over protective. I love the two places for attaching his leash. His ID and patches attach without a problem.

I want service dog patches for my service dog, will you supply instead of "best friend" ?

Appears durable and comfortable for my dog (14kg Maltese). Easy strap adjustment that maintains settings. I recommend including instructions on installing the elastic bungee tie. I wasn't sure the best way to weave through the webbing.

Really pleased with this harness. Recently had a three year old Basset join our family. Lovely temperament but she was bad on the lead with a lot of pulling and walking across my path. I was using a semi-link collar which has always worked fine with my other, admittedly much lazier, Bassets. Did our first walk with the harness today with lead attached to the top link, not the one on the chest. She was great. No pulling, nice pace, still some veering into my leg but nowhere near as much as normal. I am really impressed. Saved my back and arm from being dragged and Margo (the basset) is very happy, comfortable and confident. Harness itself is nice and strong, adjusting isn't difficult, slips nicely over her head with no problems and looks good. Expensive but well worth the money.

Can I just tell you I have pomeranian/ chihuahua mix, walks with her were stressful always pulling, choking herself, but let me tell you I just received this harness and omg it was the best ,calm walk I've had in 8 years. It was the first time using it, and what a difference!
