Wonderful product! Unexpected result! Within two days, hundreds of fruit flies drowned. I recommend it for organic gardening and terrace gardens. and those who want to avoid pesticides.

The lure is quite good. It attracts lot of flies. But the flies don't die. Most of them escape from the trap. On reporting to the seller, the seller was helpful enough to send a free bottle of lure. But that did not help since the problem was not in the lure. Even putting some water in the lower cap did not help since many flies that fall into the water swim away after sometime. I suggest putting a few drops of liquid detergent to the water. Make sure that the detergent does not have strong smell to overpower the lure. The flies that fall into this soapy water struggle for sometime but cannot swim away, and they finally get killed. May be the soap solution blinds them or makes the sides slippery and they are unable to escape. The manufacturer should have done enough study before selling such a product. The solution suggested by me works and costs almost nothing. Keep changing the soapy water once every two three days and the trap can go on for weeks.

Not effective and not for fruit fly

Any body looking for fruit Fly attractant - please don't buy this product. I had been using similar products for my home garden for long. This time I tired this one. Very bad product. No effect at all.

Its working fine. I hope now the Guava will be fine now. more then 20 insects are trapped into the same. Happy till now.

Not so sure ,there are only 2 found dead
