The reason why it is cheap compared to other Kohler products (my guess)
This stupid faucet opens in the wrong direction (turn clockwise to open). This is going to frustrate and irritate me for the rest of my life (I've used the previous faucet at the same location for around 30 years; that's some muscle memory). The cartridge is of the type that cannot be reversed. It' looks great though (while mocking me). Another thing, I think spares will be super expensive, or simply be unavailable in India, because, you know, we are the "jugaad" culture.
