They're not plastic molds, it's actually a fitted 12ga shell head. They are a bit wider and more cumbersome because they slot over top of some modified thumbsticks, but you get used to it. It is a bit of a tradeoff of performance vs novelty, but it's a pretty fun one. Looks good if you also get the 9mm casing button replacements.

I have mixed feelings on this product. On one hand, it looks great and I managed to get everything sorted, but on the other the size made everything difficult. It wasn’t until I was done experimenting and SOMEHOW made it fit into the PS5 controller that i realized the bullet casings are removable. But it seems like it SHOULDNT be. In my opinion the quality is mid, but it looks good. I’m only happy because I was skillful enough and knew what I was doing when it came to installation.

These analog sticks turned out perfect! I bought these for my boyfriend for our anniversary and were both obsessed with RDR and RDR2! They fit perfectly and work with the RDR feel. Beautiful condition and are super comfortable considering how they are a little bit taller than a normal PS4 analog stick but they’re amazing!

Absolutely love them I think they look great and even make me play a bit better but unfortunately they tarnish pretty quickly

Description lies. This will NOT work with Xbox controllers. The shell casings are too large to fit through the thumb stick holes. I think it is only meant for PlayStation. If you are buying these for Xbox, find different ones because these won't work.

These match my western theming really well, and were very easy to install. The bullet casing pops off of the analog stick base they’re connected to, which allows for easy installation through the otherwise-too-small sockets, and pop right back on snugly and securely. The analog stick heads are rubberized which allows for a snug and secure grip. It took a short bit to get used to them, because they ARE heavier and more cumbersome than normal analog sticks, but they’re not bad once you do. After playing a bit of Red Dead Redemption 2 to test them out, I can happily say that they work as intended and don’t hinder my gaming ability whatsoever. Overall, I do recommend these!

Bought these as a replacement for a controller I had received missing a thumbstick. While these hold a great novelty value, I would like to point out a few things before you purchase these. Pros: survives rapid use in games like ace combat where you have little reaction time. Build seems to be solid at this point, and the casing shows patina indicating that there were no alterations to the casing during assembly or sham Concepts build wise. Cons: XBOX USERS WILL NEED TO MODIFY SHELL FOR USE! I used a dremmel to expand the hole in the shell then wet sanded the controller to smoothen the curve. Due to the casing being the same size as the base, there is an issue with the joystick pulling out from time to time, however I belive adding heat shrink wrap to the shell post installation may help but that theory is untested at this point. Due to a mixture of metal on plastic grinding and some damage due to rookie mistakes with boring out the thumbstick holes, I am considering if I would try this first or replace the top part of the shell and reattempt a cleaner bore with more knowledge at hand first
