My 9 year old insisted that I wrote a 5 star review with SPECIFICS on this Lite-brite: -It is so much fun to create with -The colors are bright and fun and pretty -There is a built-in stand so you can display your creation -It has a battery-saver feature that allows you to display or use as nite lite and it will turn off automatically -The templates are fun and easy to use AND also fun and easy to make YOUR OWN creations. My 9 year old played with this every day since Christmas and she LOVED making a New Year's Day display on our "Food Island"! I was SO impressed with this Lite-brite!

fun quality little toy, throwback to the original. This one uses batteries , so i think it might be safer than the original (?). My nephew loved it. I think eventually he really kind of outgrew it, into trains and cars and remote control things now. Well made.

This is a simple, fun toy that encourages creativity and keeps kids busy. My kids really enjoy it. It’s easy to use and has that classic look many adults remember from our childhood. The pegs are small and can be a little tricky to handle, but overall it works well and is enjoyable to use.

Our 2 Granddaughters love this and I enjoyed introducing them to an oldie but a goodie! One complaint. It's very hard to see the light through the pegs when the board is standing up. The girls kept placing it flat on the table to be able to really see the light coming through as the picture was formed.

My nephew broke his leg so he’s been very bored and can’t run around or anything and he’s stuck in this wheelchair so he loves the light bright and loves puzzles so this was a great toy for him. Something I did as a child and I’m glad he’s enjoying it as well. It seems durable and easy to use and he can take it anywhere with him. Good quality as well.

Alas, it didn’t quite live up to my full expectations. The whole thing is a lot smaller than I remembered, and feels kind of cheap. The pegs used to be pointy, but these ones are flat, so it’s very hard to poke them through the paper (which is thicker than the original paper). It ended up hurting my fingers quite a bit. The light was plenty bright once I turned it on, but it was patchy, not illuminating the picture evenly, and the different light modes were unimpressive. I was also short of a couple pegs, and couldn’t complete the picture as designed. That said, the actual *doing* of the picture was fairly meditative and satisfying. It definitely brought me back to my childhood, which was the reason that I bought it. So although it wasn’t quite the experience I was expecting, I am glad I bought it.

Yo recuerdo haber jugado con los pinchitos clásicos cuándo era pequeña, así que se lo regalamos al peque de 2 años para jugar con él. Le gusta mucho, porque es muy llamativo y capta su atención. Es de fácil manejo, y le ayuda a ejercitar "la pinza", trae 6 plantillas para copiar dibujos que le vendrán muy bien a su hermano mayor. Los materiales son de calidad, y las luces tienen varias posiciones, todas encendidas, van cambiando las que encienden, parpadean todas... depende de las veces que le des al botón.
