Durable and cost effective, works well

I had ordered a DVD/ CD disk drive with a short permanently attached is a USB 3A / C cable. This connects to the computing device (PC, Mac, laptop). This transfer / power cable is extremely short (± 5"). Worked OK for the laptop, but would not work in my PC use. My PC (Minis Forum) is mounted behind my monitor making termination very difficult. I purchased a AINOPE USB C Extension Cable 6.6FT, 20Gbps/240W USB3.2 Type C Extender Cord to resolve this issue. Works like a charm. I have a clear desk, with the DVD drive now sitting on the monitor shelve where I can connect to my PC or my laptop without problem. I had 10 old DVD's of images that were being stored as backup media, but had no way to retrieve the data till now. I was able to transfer the images to another media, thanks to the drive and the cable. Reading a DVD with 2.6 GB of data, I was able to complete the transfer of 35753 files to my laptop with a Crucial BX500 2TB 3D NAND SATA 2.5-Inch Internal SSD in 61 minutes. The drive that I purchased, BPAKDU (External CD/DVD Drive for Laptop, DVD Player for Laptop, 8 in 1 USB 3.0 Ultra-Slim Portable, CD Burner External Disk Drive Optical Compatible with Desktop Mac, Windows) that has additional ports for the USB hub, which show up in explorer but I have not tested the capabilities of the hub. All in all I am well pleased with the results from the DVD drive, extension cable and the SSD.

I did not buy this to use for long distance data transmission and have not tested it with high capacity loads (HDMI etc). It does work for normal data (external disks etc) even when added to another long cable. But the instructions say not to do that, and i would not for anything requring high rate flow. I did buy this to experiment with extending the MagSafe3 power cords. Instead of using a regular power cord which would leave the power brick in the middle of the floor, i wanted a cleaner solution and extend the USB-Magafe cable instead. Well this works like a charm, and no ugly brick in the middle of the floor. Delivers full 140W with this and a 2m(6ft) Apple cable attached, can run my M1 Max hard with no drop in battery.

Good cable for any kind of extension. I am using it for my Iems on my pc and it has worked great. The cable is very thick though more so than most

** April 2023 Update ** I changed to 5 stars because I found out (after a difference purchase of another AINOPE product) that when using this style of USB-C connector that rotation matters applying with a USB 2.0 connection (like the USB 2.0 receiver for my mouse). So if this doesn't work for you, disconnect, rotate 180% and plug back in!! It's not the cable's fault!! ********************* ORIGINAL: I bought these extension cords so that I could get the receivers for my wireless keyboard and wireless mouse closer to the keyboard/mouse themselves. (See pic). I have an office set up at both home and work, keeping a full keyboard, mouse, large second monitor and video camera peripherals at both places. I use a 'docking station' to connect to my Microsoft Surface (see pic), but the mouse/keyboard wireless connections are spotty at 18-24" away, but are just fine when less than 12". So I bought this extension cable to get my Yeolibo docking station closer to my desk drawer. Without the extension in place, mouse works fine (when close to receiver as shown in pic), keyboard works fine (when drawer pulled all the way out so front edge of keyboard is in line-of-sight to receiver), and both second monitor/camera peripheral worked okay. When I used the extension cable so that docking station could be laid at the front edge of the desk, the second monitor & camera peripheral worked okay, but the keyboard and mouse were non-functional.

i grabbed this cable so i could bring a high‑speed usb‑c port up to the edge of my desk, and it’s been working great so far. the length is perfect for routing from the back of my pc without creating clutter, and the braided jacket feels sturdy and flexible when i move things around. i’m getting fast data transfers and charging with no drop‑outs, so i can plug in drives and accessories right where i sit instead of reaching behind the case all the time. the build quality and durability also seem solid, with no fraying or loose connections after a week of daily use. plus, i haven’t had any compatibility issues with my devices
