Men's Gel Heel Cup Shoe Insoles, Men's Size 7-12

My husband has a painful heel spur that was becoming very hard to walk on. While he is waiting to see what the doctor recommends, I purchased these heel cups to see if they would give him some relief. These have been extremely helpful and functional for the interim. They are not so thick that they are uncomfortable, but they do provide pain relief. They adhere to the heel without slipping around in his shoe. They seem durable and they are adaptable! These are a great investment for the money!

I’ve tried several brands of heel cups in prior years for heel pain due to plantar fasciitis. These were squishier, almost like semi-solid jelly. I was looking for max cushion to absorb or diffuse pressure in my center heels during “heel strike.”. I don’t feel these Sof Sole heel cups offer support if that’s what you seek. I bought probably a dozen pairs via Amazon and a local sporting goods store to wear mostly in my athletic sneakers (even in HOKA and NB), which helps prevent and relieve symptoms. They last “forever,” but do collect lint. They sometimes slip out of place between shoe wearings, but not while I run; it’s no big deal for me. I’m ordering another pair now to go in my new HOKAs because it’s a hassle to regularly switch heel cups between shoes. Plus I suspect some of the squish starts to compress a bit over time. Overall, Sof Sol is a high-quality mfr. But some of their other products are not as well-suited to my needs. There’s a lot of hit-and-miss involved with finding the right devices for such highly individualized foot issues! These heel cups are not as easy to keep in place with slip-on shoes, nor elevated heels. For better overall insole support, such as in tall rain boots or UGG-type boots, I need full-length contoured OTC orthopedic insoles.

As the name implies, this is a very soft heel cup. In my case, too soft, but I like the physical design and size. I wish there were a firm version.

I need to wear an orthotic in my right shoe to compensate for a 1/4 inch difference between my legs. Not doing so results in excruciating back pain. Unfortunately, most orthotics are firm and leathery, generally flat and prone to slipping around - there's few things as uncomfortable and inconvenient as an orthotic that slides forward in your shoe. They're also expensive, and as a shoe guy, I hate swapping the two orthotics (that with insurance cost over $100 almost 10 years ago) between multiple pairs of shoes. I especially hate putting it in a comfy pair of shoes because the firm/hard material makes the shoe uncomfortable. Enter these. They're about 1/4 inch in thickness and come two to a pack. What makes them best is the back lip is about half an inch high, so even as my foot slips in and out of my shoe a little (normal wear through the step mechanics), the lip keeps it in place. I've bought at least a dozen and have a pair in almost every shoe I own. Every year or two I replace them as they wear. I've tried other brands, and these are my go-to. The lip keeps them in place and they're firm enough that I don't feel that different between left and right feet.

It helps a lot with heel pain but wears out quickly.

These work very well for my son who has sever's disease. Very comfortable for him. Usually his feet get very sore after just a short time walking these have helped him tremendously

The fit is great and they don’t slide down in the shoe. I have heal pain and these really make a difference.

Been using them for years. Great for in boots and large shoes; not so great in slipper type shoes ladies as i discovered they lift the foot out of the shoe

Very nice heel cups...my orthotist thought they were good quality too.

Product is as appears, but the gel cushion is quite thin. They do not provide adequate all-day cushion/comfort for heel spurs. I paid 35% less for a superior product at a shoe store.
