How can I find out maximum waist size for a suspensory?

The size indicated is for the pouch. The waist band long enough, however you may have to cut is shorter for your waist.

How do you measure for this product?

Measure your waist. The pouch size is largely determined by your height. If it is too small, it will be uncomfortable and restricting. If it is too large, the scrotum will slip out.Usually, if you are from five feet ten to six feet two, a medium will quite adequate. However, if you are in doubt, a large will be fine as well. A lot depends on the brand. I have this particular suspensory in both Medium and Large, and have found that the Medium is probably the more practical of the two. I rotate them during laundry and haven't really found that much difference in them. Both are very comfortable. When in doubt, check with your doctor. My first suspensory was issued to me in the military, so I still remember the sizing that was provided.
