Although I got an orthodic heel from a professional, I felt like I needed a "back up" heel.....until next spring, when I will have the other hip replacement done.These fit perfectly, although, they are too high to be used in a regular slip-on shoe. I use one, whenever I wear boots; since it's the winter now, I am using a heel life from this set EVERYDAY.I love that it comes with layered parts, that can be removed if one inch is too much of a lift. It can be adjusted in 1/4 inch increments. I bought this heel lift, along with several others to trial. I bought this one because of the positive feedback. It turns out I like this lift the least. First of all, it was too wide, even for my tennis shoes, so it won't fit in my dress shoes for sure. I also didn't think it provided adequate support.
