The only Collar which truly Works
As an Aquatic Physical Therapist, this is a must-have. It's the only Collar that will support the head and keep the ears out of the water. Far superior to the Kiefer Neoprene (filled with small pellet styrofoam), Kiefer Cushion Float (thin and material cover can tear, making it unusable) or the Nekdoodle (too thin to support). Unfortunately, of all these options, Kiefer decided to discontinue this product. This one is the only product I would recommend and purchase for my company.

Great for Bad Ragaz for Stroke Patients
This is a great product for Bad Ragaz for stroke patients! This was bought as a replacement for the one we wore out - along with the waist float. This helps stroke patients float on water while PT/trainer works the body in a different way.

Water Safety Wind Against 'Comfort'
I bought the Kiefer Device to offset the shortcoming noted with my husband's use of the Sea Eagle Adult (2X) Life Jacket (i.e. The vest-type Life Jacket rode up his chest in the water, allowing his head to sink down into the shoulder area, causing anxiety during water therapy.) By running the single strap under his armpits, around his back, to latch in front, the Kiefer supported his mouth & nose above the water line. His ear canals lay at the water line, but did not fill with water unless he turned his head to the side. Overall, my husband said that the Kiefer felt 'uncomfortable' against his chin & neck, but he was able to complete 30 minutes of assisted water therapy.

LOVE this!
I never learned to breathe properly while swimming, but swimming is my favorite form of exercise. I tried a Nekdoodle last year & had to constantly interrupt my swim to push it back in place. This collar stays in place, so I can swim & swim to my heart's delight. Plus it has a series of foam inserts that can be removed to adjust the thickness of the collar--fantastic! If you want to support your head while swimming or exercising in a pool, this is the BEST, in my opinion!

too small for most adults
Had used this same collar at therapist's facility, theirs are larger/looser around the neck. Apparently this has been downsized or foam rigidity has changed because it almost chokes an average size adult. Also, no instructions about how to adjust by removing inner foam pieces, altho still a very tight fit after removing 1/3 of the flotation foam. If pediatric is a Small, would consider this at best a Medium and there is no option for a Large(r) neck circumference for adults.
