I have had many pellets ranging from types of wood to manufacturer. I will say these are the closest thing to recreating the taste of an open charcoal fire without the chemicals. I have to say I am very pleased with the quality of these pellets. They burn well and seem to stay solid. I store them in a plastic container until I need them and they stay in one solid piece and don't crumble. The ones that are left in the feed bin for a period of time are the same way and they may be in there for a couple of months or more. I used them to smoke a turkey for Thanksgiving this year and they worked perfect. The skoe infused the bird very well and had a great taste. I had to order another bag because I almost ran out. Pros: Good price Well Made Burn consistent Stays together Does not plug the pot feeder Cons: My wife likes the taste so much I have to keep cooking....who am I kidding...I love to cook on my smoker. I would recommend these to anyone for a try...you wont be disappointed.
