KitchenAid 6 Speed Hand Mixer with Flex Edge Beaters - KHM6118

My previous KitchenAid mixer was from 1998 and it just stopped working, that says something about the brand. I literally used it till it no longer worked. In researching a replacement, KitchenAid brand was a must. I like the rubber on the blades, the whisk attachment and how easy it is to store them on the unit. It's easy to clean, and when I used it for the first time, it was quiet and got the job done. If my original KitchenAid mixer lasted 27 years, I'm certain this one will do the same. It's a great mixer, funcional, quiet, and I like the color and that it stores the blades and whisk. Great design and puts my mind at ease knowing that KitchenAid is a name you can trust.

Finally a truly great hand mixer that actually has a "slow start" low settings so that your dry ingredients don't go flying everywhere. It mixes well. And this is so quiet! I also love the beaters with the silicone which helps scrape the bowl as you mix. Oh and I also love that the cord can swivel to either side or be locked in place. This is a well made hand mixer and worth the price. I highly recommend it.

It is worth the extra money to get a good, sturdy mixer. Plus, it is not super heavy either. It is a nice looking mixer as well.

We own an in home bakery and killed 5 mixers in the past year. This one is holding up well. It's simple to use and works really well.

I love KitchenAid products and this little hand mixer is no exception. It is powerful, and works really well. The only trouble I have with it is getting the beaters in and clicking in, I've had the beaters fall out of the unit and couldn't figure out how to get them to stay put. Sometimes I had no problem with that and I don't know what I'm doing differently. The mixing ability is amazing and strong, no issue with thick doughs and batters. The clean up is super easy as well, I'm not trying to clean out all the crevices, it just wipes clean. The only thing it doesn't have that my old mixer has is there is no case to store it. I really liked that about the other mixer, that is the only reason I took of 1 star. It does have a place to clip in the beaters to keep it all together which was a nice feature. I'm not sure what my husband paid for the mixer as it was a gift from him to me. But He is pretty frugal, so I'm sure the value for the money was acceptable to him.

I love this mixer. Great power and easy to use. Light weight design and new beaters seem durable. Love the flex edge beaters as well. They create much less metal to metal noise when in use.

I have a kitchen aid mixer in my other condo that I have use for over 30 years. I made cookies and pumpkin bread it was so much better this new tech works great. It was smooth and effortless on my part it mixes faster and better than my old one.

Love this mixer, there is silicone (I believe) coating the lower portion of the blades which makes the mixer very quiet and no scratches to stainless steel. Quite powerful also. I would recommend it to anyone!

Fantastic! Love the rubber ends. This mixer did not disappoint. The speed is great despite what other user say. No issues at all. Whipped up some mash potatoes that came out great! Love the storage of the beaters. Easy click in as well. Was having such issues with my old one clicking in, but not this one. Excellent product. You really can't go wrong with kitchen aid stuff.
