after 3 years of heavy usage, one of the wheels on the mid size suitcase finally broke. It was too bad because I really enjoyed using it, but the remaining good wheels will be used to fix the other two when they break. The color is black, just like most of the other suitcases out there, but it was really easy to recognize this one on the baggage pick up area.

I bought these for a 3 week trip by cruise and land overseas. My wife was skeptical, particularly with the price, and was not sure she would want to "take these into a lobby of the [5 star] hotels we had booked. These turned out to be wonderful, have held up better than much more expensive luggage we have had, came back without a mark, scratch or dent, and many bellman said "this is the best luggage we have seen". They are light, and I was able to pack for 3 weeks in the large bag, and left the medium bag home. Carry-on fit easily in the overhead on the plane. I highly recommend these for any kind of travel, and the price was fantastic.

This product is junk. I purchased nearly one year ago but have only used the medium case twice. It now has a massive crack right in the middle of the case which makes it unusable (unless I duct tape it). I would steer clear of this product as this issue is not even close to near normal wear and tear. I’ll go back to the soft suitcases that I’ve used for years.

While this is not a bad product, I mistakenly thought I was purchasing something with a firm latching system; however, these are closed with zippers. In addition to being less secure, the large case in particular, tended not to roll well in upright mode. On the plus side the expansion zipper came in handy on the mid-sized case to increase its volume. Also, the cases nest perfectly for storage. I used them once and resold them and will watch the details more closely on my next purchase.

Bought these a year ago, Jan 2013 for a 2 week vacation to Hawaii. I wanted a hard side case with 360 spin wheels. Flew from upstate NY to Hawaii with a few stops on the way. Luggage held up there and back with no issues, no unusual wear and tear. Sizes are great, had plenty of room for myself and girlfriend's belongings. Only other luggage we brought was a carry on backpack. Have used the smaller case several times for overnight and weekend trips. Con - I think the retractable handles could be more sturdy, only reason I did not give 5 stars.

returned 'em, just inconvenient to use - wouldn't have had room on the ship - takes up a boatload of room to open. do you really want a suitcase on your bed? no room in a ship cabin on the floor...

Very good luggage set but it does scratch easily. I have used it on several trips (including international trips) and it is going strong, with the exception of the scratches.

The color listed for the item and the picture of the item does not match. The picture of the item is black luggage where as the color listed for that item is burgundy.
