Play it safe and protect yourself from the sun when outdoors. I've read that each time you get a sunburn increases your chances of developing skin cancer. This hat is perfect for me when saltwater fly fishing... I tan easily and rarely get sunburned, except when I'm out on the coastal waters; then I need protection. This hat is very light, stays on, has nearly invisible ventilation holes, and an adjustable chin strap for security. I greatly prefer wearing a sun hat to slathering on sunscreen lotion. It also has a clever design feature where the front and rear sections of the brim are stiff, while the sides of the brim are soft. This keep the brim from sagging over your eyes or sagging onto the back of your neck. It also prevents the brim from flapping in high winds. I once tried a "desert" type ball cap with a sun shield on the sides and back, but the soft/loose fabric flapped in the wind and drive me nuts; money wasted. This hat doesn't do that. I'll be wearing this comfortable hat to keep cool on sunny days, not just for the SPF 50 protection it offers. I got the blue one and love the camo pattern. The hat came shipped flat, so there were no troublesome folds to try to work out of it. It has a draw cord inside the wicking head band to adjust the hat size via a cord lock on the outside rear of the hat. I usually wear a 7 1/2 or 7 5/8, and the hat was a snug fit with no adjustment of the cord. (If you wear a large or very large hat, this one might be too snug for you.) I enjoy lots of outdoor activities and have amassed a lot of hats over the years. This one is a favorite.

Good quality just a weird shape and form on the brim. Hard and flat in front and back. Like a baseball cap not pliableor flexible. Other than that well made

As a construction worker who works outside, I have tried several hats of this style and none of them are as good as this one. * The hat is lightweight and very comfortable * Does an excellent job of blocking the sun from face and neck * Can feel the breeze on my head as the air flows through the vents which is a wonderful feeling on hot days * The neck guard is light and not only blocks the sun from burning your neck but funnels the air around the back of your neck as you walk, move, or have a breeze. * Comes in a variety of different colors * Great value for the price I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality hat to protect them from the sun but also keep them cool and not create the feeling of wearing a winter hat in the middle of summer.

This hat is comfortable, well built, light and packs into a backpack easily. I like the adjustable bungee to fit my head snug and the chin cord kept it from flying off while running at speed. I hate wearing sunscreen but also don't like cancer so I choose to cover up when I can. This hat protected my face, ears and neck while on a week long marlin fishing trip in Cabo. It was light, dried fast and kept sweat out of my eyes. I bought the gloves from kastking also and the worked just as well. Overall it's a great value for the $ and I vmhave zero complaints. Would highly recommend.

My son wasn't sure about this hat until he put it on. Blocks the sun better then his ball cap he normally wears. He loves it for fishing. Great quality and looks cool!

Nice hat but if you have a larger size head this won't fit. Need more sizes!!!

Pretty good Gatto keep the sun off your face. Colour choices are great. If looks are important, this hat looks very summer trendy. Adjustable to custom fit any head size. Brim is not too big to be obstructiveto vision but big enough to not worry about sun on your face. All round good choice from reputable brand. Recommend
