We love these! We bought 2 for our boys that we home school and they work great! We haven't had any problems. We did buy the warranty on each because boys will be boys. Very easy to use, great sound (with or without headphones), and great picture. They aren't heavy, the screen rotates which makes it easy to help them if I need to and it has a remote control so i can pause to help them if i need.

I just purchased this and have only used it twice. It worked so great for us. The sound quality was good and pictures was nice and clear. It’s very portable! It does make a little more sound when the dvd does its thing but otherwise no complaints here! Great value for the money. I hope the battery life last and the screen continues to work!!

Bought this DVD player last June and it had a great picture and sound quality. Unfortunately it started to freeze up during use. Would put the same disc in another player and it would work fine so knew it was the player and not a defective disc. Sent DBpower a couple of short videos showing the problem occurring and within 10 days a new DVD player was delivered to my house with no need to return the defective one. Dealing with this company was amazingly easy and hassle free. They definitely stand behind their product.

Appears to be of good quality. Nice picture, well tuned and did not require any adjustment to get a good picture. The 'Resume Where Left Off' feature is really nice as it automatically restarts at same point on the DVD as it was at when shut off. It does seem to have a problem with reading some DVDs where it will freeze up for 10-20 seconds now and then. Does not do it in the same place twice, so not sure what is wrong.

The idea of a portable DVD player is to be able to watch DVDs without having to be plugged into an electric power source, hence a charged battery. I do not watch DVDs for an endless 5 hours. Does the battery life last that long? I don't know. I do know that when I charge the player to green light full, after sitting for 8 hours and not used, I have to plug in and charge again since the battery is dead, needless to say, that is quite frustrating to plan on watching something only to find that I can't use the player. It seems as if there is no true 'power off' just a screen off so there is a continuous drain on the battery. The instructions say to charge the battery at least once a month, so far, since I have received this, it has been charged 3 times with a total of 45 min of usage. The little bit of usage I have had for viewing, the picture is fine. I have not put batteries into the remote control because, well, there is no sense in using a remote on a player that is on charge. Well ... If I could give a zero star rate, I would. After charging again, the battery was dead within 4 hours of disconnecting the charger without ever even turning the player on. PURCHASE AT OWN RISK So, for 3 weeks in a row now, I have received offers from DBPowers of a gift card... First offer $40, second offer $50, and now another offer of $60 if I change my star review to 5 stars. Please note, the single star review still stands. Woohoo.... And now an $80 offer! Nope ... I stand by my review.
