This can is just one part of the Giani Bombay Black kit, so this can by itself will not give you a granite look. However, Giani may be applied over ceramic tile with additional prep work. It will fill in the grout or make the countertop level. We've had hundreds of Giani customers apply over ceramic tile with great results. Here are the steps for additional prep work: To apply Giani to your ceramic tile, please follow these directions: • First, clean the tile to ensure it's free of all residue. Use SOS® or Brillo® pads and then wipe with a damp cloth. • Rinse the surface with water to ensure all residue is removed. • Next, use a fine grit silicon carbide sand paper to lightly rough up your tile surface. • Wipe up the sanding dust with a damp cloth and allow to dry. However you still need to follow the steps for application of the paint. Like sanding, priming, painting and then applying a top coat. **Q: Can you this paint on canvas?** A: Yes this is a water based acrylic and could be used on canvass is you desired. Please note this is not the designed purpose of this paint so we would be unable to warrant it. **Q: Can this be used on an old corian style sink to change color from almond?** A: Unfortunately our product is not designed to be used in a sink basin. He stated that it was cheaper than getting all new counters so I agreed to give it a try. I used this product to touch up some spots on my counter. It worked well. I had this done a year ago and the only issue I have with the product is that it wears.
