Harney & Sons Black Tea, Earl Grey Supreme with Silver Tips, 4 oz

Good flavor.

This is a very nice Earl Grey, citrus flavor under a nice sturdy black tea.

Really good Earl from this obscure brand. I jazz up organic matcha green tea with a ball of it.

This isn't quite what I had in mind for my Earl Grey, but this is an excellently crafted tea. For those who like delicate teas, this might become your favorite. The tea is a blend including Ceylon Silver Tips, a very expensive tea that is quite light and aromatic. You can see these when you open the tin, which by the way has no foil liner--the tea is just packed right into the can. The bergamot is light and citrusy, not heavy and perfumed. The tea brews up light golden to red depending on how strong you made it; I used 2 full cups (450ml) of water and 3 small tea measures and brewed five minutes (recommended time.) It came out a medium red and a bit weaker than I like. The taste was sweet, no bitterness and a light bergamot scent. Summary: if you like mild, delicate Earl Grey, this will be just what you want. I happen to prefer a bit more robust tea myself, but there is no doubt this is a high quality, very refined tea.

I enjoy a good Earl Grey and love trying different teas. The Earl Grey Supreme caught my attention for the added silver tips and higher content of bergamot. Tin arrived well packaged. No dents noticed and seal was intact. Size is norm and compact. Date of the tea was almost a few years old, and expiration was coming up this year. Fortunately, it did not impact the quality of the tea much. Earl Grey Supreme has a nice citrus smell to it. Typical of an Earl Grey. Nothing overwhelming with aroma. Maybe if I had a tin that was new the citrus would be stronger. But when brewed the bergamot flavor did come out. Citrus flavor is full, pleasant, and not too much to be overbearing. Temperature-wise a brew at 204F for five minutes gave the tea a nice mix of zest and sweetness. The Earl Grey Supreme was neither astringent, nor bitter. Bergamot flavor complimented the tea so well it can be enjoyed without milk or honey. One of those teas you can sip on throughout the day. Great boost of energy as well. Tea leaves were full with no dust. Strainer not really necessary with the right pour.

A smooth but pleasantly brisk, rich, very flavorful tea with a good burst of the bergamot flavor I fancy. I'm a tea snob, and this product checks all the boxes. Harney teas are superlative.

The ultimate black tea, Earl Grey Supreme is bitter and astringent, and provides a kick. The taste is great too if you enjoy bitterness in your drink.

Nice flavor, just as expected for Earl Grey. I actually bought it as much for the metal box as for the contents.

I don't know what makes it supreme. It tastes like what I expect Earl Grey to taste like, so that's good enough for me.

Nice tin too.

This is a beautifully aromatic tea and I just made the perfect cup. This is a must buy.
