Not the spring wire I was expecting that holds its coil. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent replacement for droopy hat brims! *by M***S on September 1, 2025* I purchased this wire to replace the plastic "wire" in the huge brim of my gardening hat and it turned out great! The original plastic hat "wire" used to stiffen the brim of my favorite gardening/beach hat had worn out and cracked in multiple places causing the brim to sag down to much it made the hat unwearable. I pulled the original stiffener out and fed this wire into the same channel and it works great! My hat brim stands out on it's own and I have my own personal shady spot! This wire spring wire is very sturdy, so I had to use blot cutters to snip it.
