For years I used a CamelBak Groove. I loved that thing... But it was limited. The Eddy+ is awesome. It's well constructed and solid. The LifeStraw filtration system is 2nd to none; watch the videos on it if you're not sure. The taste of the water is fine. Fill it up at the tap or a natural stream, or even a pond. US or Mexico or Nicaragua or Liberia... The point is I'll be safe from water pollutants. The American SW has some hard water and this will remove all the calcium and magnesium bicarbonates etc... It'll even remove pharmaceuticals in tap water. It's worth every penny if you ask me. It beats buying bottled water.

This bottle is just what I need while traveling abroad. The flow is perfect when you take a sip. I love that it filters just about everything. I can ask for tap water at a restaurant or anywhere and feel confident I will I will not be sick. I have been drink tap water now in malaysia and the taste has been awesome and no tummy issues! Life saver!!

Used it on a 9 day trekking in the Swiss alps where I had to use a filter. Didn't had any issue after drinking the filtered water. Very easy to fill in streams and very easy to use. Keeps the water cool for long time. Takes a bit of effort to drink which is the only reason why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.

I’ve ordered three of these over the last years. Two for my son who lived in Paraguay for 2 years (the first one was stollen) and one for my daughter in college who lives in an area with gross water. These are great. Filters water perfectly and keeps water cold. Must have if u live in an area with yuk water

Should be standard issue for Sailors! Made all the difference during two years of deployments at sea! Not a luxury or a novelty- the LifeStraw filter is an absolute necessity both underway and during foreign port calls. You can't understand how much that kind of piece of mind meant to someone living on a ship. Insanely durable and portable. The bite valve is a bit of a headache to clean, but it's by no means impossible. I was probably more appreciative of this bottle than any other piece of kit, save for my slip-on shower shoes and my Kindle.

I used this water bottle on a trip to Mexico in an area that the drinking water is questionable. I was there for a week and did not have any stomach issues so I'd say this filter did a great job! I've used similar water bottle/filters before and this one was the easiest to drink out of.

Ok, I'll admit to being on a clean water kick. This product checked the feature boxes I was looking for: - very good filteration: it blocks just about everything - "container" where you can "dip" it into a unknown water source (to fill) and then drink out of it - high quality stainless - insulated I filled it up and put it in my RV fridge for later use. However when "later" came along is when I started having "issues" with it. I own a handful of water bottles that DON'T have a "filter" feature that are very easy to use. Simply fill, put on the cap and when you wish to drink you can ether "pop the drinking nipple" tip and pour the water out of the bottle into your mouth OR some might require a bit of 'sucking' to get the water out. THIS product requires "BITE & SUCK" to get water out. Bite to much and no water. Bite "just right" along with SUCKING and you MAY get SOME water. (at this point I'm starting to wonder about the BACKFLOW!!!) IMHO there appears to be no way to simply POUR filtered water out of the bottle into your mouth. MEH! In my case I was still thirsty so just sat this product aside and grabbed a more user friendly bottle that I could actually quench my thirst with minus the enormous effort THIS product requires.

So I work in a government building and if you’ve ever worked in one you KNOW the water is gross. This completely fixed it. The water is still gross BUT this takes the smell and taste out of the water. I don’t need to bring my gallon jug anymore. If you work in any government building you need one of these. Buy it you won’t be sorry.

Both CamelBak and Amazon had terrible customer service for a product that leaks and neither company would fix the problem. I would not recommend the water bottle as it leaked all over my back pack while I was travelling and everything got wet. Neither company will help to resolve the issue and I'm stuck with a water bottle that is useless

I use this every time I go hiking and I love it. It's a bit heavy but that's not an issue for me personally

Love this drink bottle! I take it everywhere with me and I have confidence knowing I’m able to drink clean and safe water from just about anywhere. There was a bit of a mild plastic taste for the first week but all good now. It took a while to get used to the ‘bite and suck’ straw. The look and feel of the bottle is premium. Highly recommend. Wait for it too go on sale though!

J'ai fait plusieurs randonnées avec cette gourde et elle ne déçoit jamais. De plus l'eau est très bonne ! Elle garde l'eau fraîche longtemps et le revêtement semble très solide.
