I have a male pitbull with a big chest, and the harness fits great. He does a lot of pulling when he's excited, so having the handle to short-leash him is great. I was having an issue with our dog getting out of her collar both when she was hooked up outside and when we took her for walks. That does not happen with this. It is very secure, it does not seem to bother her and it does not have any pressure around her neck like her last collar did. I have had this for about 8 months and it is holding up great.
