So much easier in that bowl, the bowl doesn’t travel all over the counter as you are mixing. After using the bowl for mixing I used it to wash all the smaller bowls and silver ware in it, then washed and rinsed the bowl. All prep dishes were all washed, dried and put away. Will make a great pop corn bowl too. It has a weighted base, but the rest of the bowl is lightweight - overall it's not that heavy. There is a grommeted hold on the green lip that allows it to be hung. (I cut the ends off a shoe-lace and threaded it through the hole, and tied a knot, piggybacking two bowls to hang on the same hook.)
