Angelus Angelus Leather Paint 1 Oz Cognac

Ich habe meine älteren Leder Schuhe damit wieder neu getrimmt und passend dazu einen Ledergürtel und eine kleine Handtasche…. Super Ergebnis! ! Habe dies auch mit anderen Farben dieser Marke gemacht und habe dadurch viele farblich passende Accessoires.

So far so good! Application was easy - color is really pretty (cognac) and hopefully the splotchy evens out once it dries fully.

First of all I think the product I received was used. It was thick and the bottle was not full. When I later received the Light Brown from the same manufacturer it was an obvious difference. Thin and smooth and filled to the top. As for the color, it’s very orange and did not work for the cognac shoes I was using it for. I purchased the Light Brown and mixed them however and it was much better. The pictures show the finished effect and some show the damage before also. I used a sponge craft brush and soaked the damaged areas then lightly covered the toe box and touched up other light damage on the sides. Then I wiped the toe box with a dry paper towel to remove the excess. I think the finished effect is a massive improvement and will be virtually undetectable from any distance. Once the paint dries I’ll polish with a cognac shoe polish and cross my fingers it will last a few uses. (These are my son’s uniform shoes that they destroyed the first day. This paint should help me get through the year without replacing them—I hope. They weren’t cheap!) Overall with the blended color I’m very happy. This is much cheaper than replacing items all the time. I also used the Light brown to touch up their dark brown belts and though it’s not a perfect match obviously, it does hide the damage pretty well. I’ll probably buy a jar of dark brown for next time though.

So I accidentally spilled some bleach on these shoes and I didn’t want to throw them out because I just got them. I searched shoe repair shops but they wanted more than what I paid for the shoes. I took a chance with this leather shoe paint and I was more than happy with the results. Just look at the photos. I can’t even tell there was a bleach stain on these shoes. As for the color when you first put it on it appears brighter than the surrounding leather so that made me think the color was off a bit but as it dries the color blended perfectly with the surrounding leather. The bottle it’s self is 4oz and you get a brush built into the top. 5 stars from me.

My boots were scuffed beyond anything plain old shoe polish could repair. Initially my heart sank when the small bottle of paint arrived and the dye looked to be a very bright orange.. It sank even further when I saw the ridiculously tiny applicator. I had nothing to lose so I went ahead and applied it. Well, my boots now look absolutely gorgeous. The paint dried closer to the hue I hoped it would be. Applying it over a large area was tedious with the nail polish bottle sized brush. I ultimately solved the problem by pouring it on my boots and distributing it with a rag. My beautiful boots now look brand new.
