Some individuals prefer to have a hole. **Q: The pictures make little sense. why would it be ok to leave the sensor exposed? this keeps only the transmitter in place? clothes would yank it out.** A: The small hole you see does expose a small part of the sensor, the rest of the sensor is covered. The hole is necessary to help your skin breathe and allow any water from bathing to drain out and not get stuck.
