I normally use disposable pads but when we recently moved into a house with hardwood floors I was concerned about leaks although it's rare that it happens. I put these down with a disposable on top, that way the wood floors are really protected. The pads look nice, worth the money because they wash well and nothing leaks through onto my floors. I have to feed my cats up high enough so that my dog doesn't eat their food and these mats are good for placing on their eating area to protect their wood table. You can different uses for these.

Recently, I have had a little visitor 3 nights a week, consistently: My son's 14 yo dog. She's a pretty smart girl, but in the past, we have had accidents when she stays over. She is used to a doggie door to let herself out. Paper pads have ended up shredded, not utilized. Night time piddle is the biggest of our problem, but sometimes, when we leave for a couple of hours during the day, we still come home to a clean-up situation. I was hopeful, but not really expecting success, that I could convince her to use a fabric potty pad instead. So, I researched many manufacturers. This one, by Eterish, seemed to have good success, so I bought a 2 pack and placed one in my kitchen. Not taking any chances, I also sprayed it with a "GO" spray. I made a point to introduce her to the pad, then left. Waddayaknow! She used it, leaving a huge puddle on the pad. So I put it down for overnight, hoping I'd get a full night's sleep as an added benefit. While that did not happen, she still woke me to let her out several times, in the morning, she had gifted me a large puddle...on the pad...too. Obviously, this little girl has good plumbing, but she did use the pad at some point when her human was nonresponsive. I am ecstatic. These quilted pads are very well made. I love the little, sticky paw prints all over the backside that make it non-slip. But best of all, it is definitely leak proof. It washes up beautifully in the washer, and can be dried on a low heat. Great product!

We just recently had a house move which always makes our cat anxious and changes his “bathroom” behaviors. That said it became unpredictable temporarily how fast he’d get his litter box dirty. And, if it is, he’d go on the mat instead. So, I bought these hoping if he does the floors are protected. Worked like a charm. Does not soak through, absorbent. Popped in the wash and are like new again. The size is also great. They look like quilted blankets. They have a skid free side so pet friendly and stays in place.

I wanted to use these before I wrote a review and it's a year and a couple days later so I'm ready! I bought 2 of these because our rescue dog has terrible separation anxiety and pees right after we leave. I started getting up earlier and taking her for a short walk before work, allowing her a 2nd potty break before I leave for the day and that seemed to solve the problem and I didn't need to use the pads. Fast forward to fall and she is ill with cancer, and on steroids, so she is drinking and eating constantly, so is now having potty issues in between morning and my lunch break. I have 2 large ones to cover the most floor space. I wash/dry them each day after work. This has been daily for almost 6 months. They wash and dry well, and have been a life saver in that we dont have to spot clean the carpet multiple times a day. One little spot has a loose binding that I need to sew down which is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. There are silicone dots to keep the pads down without sliding around. They are more like a quilt. We had also tried using disposable pee pads and they worked, except it took 4-5 pads to protect the same size area and it created constant trash, and she could kick them around so there would still be spots that missed the pads. TOTALLY worth the money!!!!

I don’t ever write reviews. But these puppy pads are totally worth it. I have a dog in congestive heart failure that’s on medication that makes him pee very large volumes and very frequent. Normal puppy pads were leaking and getting on to the carpet. These puppy pads hold up against my dogs urine, and don’t leak! Definitely would be again. They are washable and I just let mine air dry. They dry pretty quick.

My 70 pound 14 year old shepherd mix sometimes has a leaky bladder at night so I got this to put over her bed. It works well and is easy to wash. She gets scared during thunderstorms and gets up in my bed so I put this down to protect it. It’s a great size for her and now she can stay close whenever she wants.
