I will tell you straight out the gate - this is worth the money as in: you are getting a product that has excellent worth/cost value. It's easy to put together and I did my best, after seeing some reviews about it potentially being shaky, to replicate this -- so here's what I discovered: 1. it's quite solid IF you put the vertical supports in ALL THE WAY. if you don't? Yes, it will wobble like a drunk on New Year's - push FIRMLY on either end of each piece, one at a time until it sets properly. 2. adding the shelves is necessary for stability. also, they do have a listed weight limit - don't be the nugget trying to put multiple pickle jars on the top of this, it will not hold. it is not rated for that. Stick to light things like tuna cans, cat food, plastic wrap, tin foil, etc and you'll be golden. 3. Enjoy your new space saving item!

So, I do understand why I've seen some of the bad reviews on here. The concept as a whole is perfect. The plastic shelving needs to either a bit thicker, or made of better plastic...cause this stuff is definitely on the soft side. The plastic shelves are definitely a bit on the flimsy side and will 'droop' if heavy items are on them. There are ways around this issue to help make the whole thing more sturdy. I'm thinking some sort of a middle post 'bracer' of sorts. Or you simply adjust an only put lighter items on the shelves. As far as the metal, if you use a rubber mallet, or the rubber end of a hammer, you can get them to seat. There is a slightly raised bump to show you when they're actually in fully. That being said, I am ordering 2 more since they are functioning for what I'm using them for. The space I am going to use them for needs something there desperately. I will be working on trying to do something in the mean time for making the shelves more weight functional so I can place heavier items on them. Hopefully in the mean time, the maker will see this review and take some of the suggestions here to heart. If they do, I can definitely see this being a top selling item.

Handy under sink storage.

Very sturdy and well made. Used for putting 3 "8" pack of buns on so they didn't sit directly on each other. Would buy again and highly recommend.
