I needed this size for a specific reason and this fits the bill. The shape however, due to the ridges on the sides does make it smudge a bit when coming out of the mold. I have a system now that I put it in the freezer for a bit and then take them out and that helps a lot, even still, I do get a few smears. Otherwise, it is a great mold, high quality, easy to clean and I am happy and pleased with the end product! I now own four and will never go back to making candy on a cookie sheet. I sprinkle a minimal amount of powdered sugar on them. . .fill them with the hot liquid, let it set, then pop them out! Love these. . did I mention I now have 4! They make the perfect size candy disc (I have four because that is how many one recipe for the candy require).
