Inexpensive Peace of Mind
I purchased this water bottle to take on a trip to the Bahamas. Even though the tap water is considered safe to drink, I was concerned that there might be a microorganism that my body would have a hard time combatting. I certainly didn’t want to spend my vacation in the toilet—so long story short, the filter works. The downside is the effort required to get the water through the filter. This is a minor inconvenience in regard to the big picture. If you are not sure of the water quality this water bottle and filter can help give you a peace of mind so that you can enjoy your time visiting. I do recommend this product.

Clean water!
I travel quite a bit to places where the water quality can be sketchy, and don't love using bottled water due to the one-time use of plastic. This gives me clean water, and a clean conscience.

Love it so far
I worry about what impurities float in our water and don’t like the smell/taste of chlorine. I have a life straw pitcher at home and I got this to carry in my purse and take to work. It makes a huge difference in the taste and smell of the water. I know it has to go through the layers of filter so it takes a bit of effort to drink but that’s the only reason I deducted a star.

Excellent Filter Bottle
High quality that you'd expect from brands like CamelBak and LifeStraw. Assembly was easy and cleaning is a fairly simple process. The bottle seems to filter well and is easy to drink from as advertised. I purchased the 20 oz size since I felt the 32 oz would be too big for standard vehicle cup holders. The 20 oz is a bit less capacity than I'm used to and requires more filling. This is a minor inconvenience but worth mentioning. So my only complaint is that it would be nice if the 20 oz bottle was a bit bigger.

Solid bottle. Requires a bit of effort to drink through straw
I travel pretty frequently both domestically and internationally. I don't trust hotel water and also don't like spending money on water or buying single-use bottles when I don't have to. So I always bring a filter bottle with me benefiting both the environment and my wallet. I've traditionally used a 26oz bottle from a competing brand but seeing this product on sale, I figured I'd give it a try. After traveling a few times I've found it easy to fill, is dishwasher safe, doesn't spill (which is important for bringing in the side of my backpack) and is the right size to fit in standard cup holders. What's more, it holds 32oz compare to my previous 26oz bottle, which is a nice little upgrade. The only downside I've encountered is that it requires a little bit more effort when sucking water from the straw on this bottle versus the prior product I used. It's not enough to stop me using the bottle, or even to detract from it in a major way, but ease of use is certainly impacted. I'd like to think that this is the result of a stronger filter which necessitates more force, but I have no way of verifying if this is true. Overall it's a great bottle, a good size, and I'll continue using it for my travels. Edit 11/21/2025: After using this water bottle a handful (less than 5) times for travel it stopped working and it's next to impossible to draw water from no matter how hard you bite down or suck. The bite valve is fine, and the clear filter seems ok, but the black piece that connects the two seems blocked despite extremely infrequent usage and adherence to care guidelines. It's too late to return at this point but this is not the quality I've come to know Camelbak for

I love this item and it was a great price!
I love this product. I used to have a camelbak groove so that's what I was looking for but they don't seem to make that one anymore. This camelbak is pretty similar. I love it because having to suck the water through the filter actually makes me more thirsty so I drink more water. I don't drink enough water normally so I am hoping having a new camelbak will help.

Love this thing
Bought to take on my work trips when I need to stay long periods of time in Hotels. The hotels awalys charged $2-$5 just for a single water bottle, and I got tired of having to buy water everyday just to be hydrated. Now I just use this bottle to refill from the sink and never have to worry about going thirsty again! Only cons are that it's pretty tough to get the water through the "straw" you need to suck pretty hard, and it does reach low enough in the bottle to get all the water so I have to refill it more often even though there's still quite a bit of water left at the bottom. Over all though, definitely love this thing

I used it abroad and did not get sick
I believe it works because I have suffered from tap water in South America in the past and was fine on this trip; it does require the user to suck pretty hard and does not hold a super huge volume of water- it’s better than the alternative so A+ for that Tastes good and cleans easily

I bought this bottle for a trip to Cuba and was apprehensive at first, but decided to just go for it and start drinking out of it. It honestly worked, water tasted clean and my partner and I used it exclusively for drinking water for half our trip (before unfortunately losing it, so I got another - that’s how well it worked) and never got sick. Definitely worth the price for the quality, it keeps the water in and doesn’t spill either. If you’re having trouble with getting the mouthpiece to open you might have to use something sharp to poke a hole, but try twisting it a bunch of different ways first.

It just has been a few days that I have started using this bottle and I haven't used this for anything other than normal water. What I can say is that I can feel the difference in the normal tap water that I used to drink before and it tastes way better than. Hopefully this will survive for the prescribed duration and I will update my review if there is any change. As for the initial impressions, its great. One final thing, it requires a bit to get used to sucking water from the tip, but its a good exercise for the most ignored part of the body.
